Yeah we were looking at the statline a little while ago...I think I'd take those stats any day in Rupp with the except of free throws...The Cats were HYPERFOCUSED today....rarely do you see a team that honed in on what they wanted to do.We shoot 53% fg and 48% from 3 and get clobbered.... Probably the best statistical from KY in the last 20 years. Most of their prayers were even answered. Just glad that coach put some of the young guys in for real minutes. Not cashing it in for this season, but maybe we need to go with the youth movement and bring in some of our starters off the bench. Fulky might work his way into the best 6th man we have. BHH looked like with some more real minutes he could be a factor by tourney time.
Odd day all the way around. Go look at live stats... Heck they even went 20-21 from the foul line.
We will get to see what they are made of in the next few games. Probably find out what our faithful are made of earlier....
1. That sucked ass.
2. Bench Fulky
3. Play BHH.

Recorded the game and just now watched. Focused on Fulky. Rewound and watched him several times. He is barely able to stand up. He has no quickness, no lift, and no strength. After changes of possession he struggles to run down court. Sorry folks, but Fulky is not well. Whether it is the 2nd bout of COVID, the severe concussion, or the fact his body just can’t handle the rigors - he is just spent.1. That sucked ass.

I suggest rolling with BHH and living with his youth, mistakes and general periods of “being lost “. He definitely has some skills. Let John lead from the bench and play 10 minutes/game. He has given his all for his Alma Mater - he just has nothing physically left to give….
Exactly. Had one a few days ago talking about JJJ’s terrible defense. This was his 2nd really good performance in a row, but people just throw mud against the wall just to see if it sticks.JJJ was one of our best players on the floor, today. I swear some of you just take your own impressions and throw them out there without any idea of whether they are statistically or even perceptually accurate.
I think a lot of people take this stuff so personally they literally can not see what you suggest. Clearly JJJ is a great asset to this team. Rebounds, plays great defense, and handle the ball etc. My own brother is so put out with Vescovi and we've had that discussion a few times. After I kinda lay it out statically he'll relent. Some folks just take their frustrations out on one player no matter what and just wait for that player to miss a crucial shot etc and lambast them.JJJ was one of our best players on the floor, today. JJJ clearly deserves his time on the court because he plays great defense, rebounds pretty well and we need some leadership from someone on the floor. Hopefully he gets out of his offensive funk because statistically he is no better and may be worse than his freshman year. He will never be aggressive offensively and doubt at this stage in his career that will ever change. I think he is one of those players who if he misses his first 1 or 2 shots from the perimeter each game his confidence suffers the rest of the game. Barnes continues to give him the green light.JJJ was one of our best players on the floor, today. I really hope so. I can’t remember another player quite like JJJ. One minute he’s wowing us and the next, he leaves us scratching our heads.Been solid in two straight, now. Hopefully he's turned a corner.
I agree 100%, however, JJJ is very streaky offensively and you can see it early in games. I just don’t want to see him jacking shots or being the first option, when he’s not feeling it. But most definitely he is a crucial part of this team and we are going to need him, if we are to have a good season.I think a lot of people take this stuff so personally they literally can not see what you suggest. I agree with everything you said. Although Chandler is an exceptional talent on offense, very little defense.Fulky had goose eggs in 2 critical categories. 0 points, 0 rebounds. Literally wth?
Vols have a "shooter" in Powell that does not take shots. He has brought nothing to this team. In fact, he's a liability.
Vescovi has been an improvement and is a decent player at times.
Chandler is a great young talent.
Other than that the Vols don't have a suitable roster. I find this alarming and very confusing.....
I can understand Fulk having zero rebounds. The other team pretty much has to miss a shot before you can get a rebound.
Amazing stat. However, if I remember correctly UK only out rebounded UK by one rebound. The difference in the game wasn’t rebounding it was points off turnovers and fast break points. UK outscored UT 32-11 on points after turnovers. At one time, very late in the game, UK had outscored UT 27-0 on fast break points.
