The worst thing those kids can do is create a bigger circus than there's already gonna be

UK is gonna be in trouble if these kids are serious. People think that team this year was full of uncoachable guys? Try someone who thinks they could take MJ

It's a problem I bet a lot of kids that are highly ranked have. But I'm surprised they would come out and say it. MJ would beat all of these kids easily.

These recruits are so awesome you don't even know!!!

I don't know why they don't go ahead and raise the 2013-2014 National Championship Banner up at Midnight Madness. Probably because it would be too much for the haters to handle and John Calipari is just too classy for that.

Is it bad I'd pay to see this? Just every year till he can't walk, MJ takes on the #1 recruit in the country to make sure all the kids realize they stand no chance. Do it on ESPN as an exhibition game or tourney. I'd love it.

So these are the kind of kids Calapari wants to have on his team? Kids who think they could take Micheal Jordan 1 on 1? That is just laughable.

Seriously? You're lying if you're trying to say you wouldn't want them at UT because of this. I'd take them all and you would too if you were honest.

Yes, I'm sure one of the screening questions in the kids living room was "if you can't beat Michael Jordan one on one you can't play here."

Its really hard for me to believe they werent joking about that.

But then again, they probably werent old enough to have seen him play in his prime. They may not understand how good he really was.

Jordan was a very good NBA player and, obviously, the case can and is made that he's the single greatest basketball player of all time.

However, even in his prime, I don't think he would have been absolutely indomitable in a one-on-one matchup at the local gym against some other wildly-talented players.

I can think of at least 20 people that would have given Jordan a solid run for his money at whatever age you consider to be his prime.

20 incoming freshman? I highly doubt it...

And dont forget, he was also a defensive player of the year in the NBA to go along with the scoring titles. I would bet he was a beast in 1 on 1.

Hahaha, no, not 20 incoming freshman. Probably should have specified that. 20 players since Jordan last played for the Bulls (or, if that list became weak, all-time). I understand that Jordan was great defensively; after all, he's not widely considered the greatest ever for no reason.

Nonetheless, there are people who I wouldn't be surprised to see defeat Jordan in a prime vs. prime matchup.

I can agree with that. I just have an issue with these High School kids being cocky enough to believe that they could beat him (If they werent just joking around).

Sure, Kobe in his prime might could hang, Lebron right now, Shaq, but no 17 year old that ever existed is beating Michael Jeffrey Jordan in his prime at a game of 1v1.

How dare these kids have the audacity to be so confident, to believe in themselves like that...the nerve of these kids...
