I feel bad for my nephew's 16 yr old friend and his family from a couple of years ago and he wasn't wearing a belt.
I think you are a little harsh there. If the person was close to you, you would feel plenty of sadness.
My cousin died when he was 19(I was 15) from being ejected from his car. He wasn't wearing his seat belt.
A friend died from a rollover accident when he was 22. Also not wearing a seat belt.
See my post below yours. Not wearing your seat belt is not a mistake, its a clear choice. There's a difference, chief.

It's not possible sometimes people are in a rush and forget?
Or are you acting as if he as being purposefully wreckless and choosing to live on the edge?
Either way you are showing your true colors that you are simply a prick.
It's great that he survived; he was truly lucky. Hopefully, he will fully recover and resume his playing career. IMO, though, either you wear a seat belt every time you drive a car, or you don't. It's not something you forget when you're in a hurry, like you might forget a wallet, cell phone, or watch. I can't speak for YV, but I do think it's reckless to not use a seat belt. In this case, it worked out for the better. I wish this could have worked out with him surviving with the seat belt on though, as this story isn't going to persuade anyone who isn't wearing one to change their minds.
Wonder if alcohol was a factor
