Didn’t have the grades to get into Bama or UT

I was shocked how low the standards are at UK. At my high school in Virginia a girl I knew got outright rejected from what's essentially a glorified four year community college but got into (and went) to UK.

Wow! It's really that bad?

My ACT score ( a 26 overall) and high school GPA would get me laughed at at UT these days

TN is reportedly turning down 4.0+ GPA's out of high school

I got into Tennessee with a relatively average GPA but an absolute load of AP credits, 97th percentile SAT scores, and multi generation legacy status. I don't think I'd get in today.
