Kentucky Will Win SEC East

Those UK people are ridiculous. I hate it that they won, because there is nothing I like more than watching the Cats lose. Vandy looked bad today, every team is going to have a bad game or 2. But to come out and say they are going to win after that mediocre win is just them reaching because they have had nothing to be happy about all year, UK will not win the east! When they play us it is gonna be a rout. Cant wait till we go to Rupp and rub there nose into the ground.
Heck, I love it that Ky won, Vandy has a loss, and the idiot Ky fans think they are the $hit

This is funny - go to the Vandy vs. Kentucky thread and you'll see I predicted this exact thing from Kentucky fans. Shows how retarded they can be.
We've got one on this board that has his moniker as UTFAN4life ....or something that dellusional and misrepresentative....says it's cuz Tubby. Hell, they screwed him ROYALLY and he's a massive UK fan still and says the moniker is for football only. I don't give a crap who he's a fan of ...I just want him striped of his call name.

UT will beat UK like a drum, at home and in Lexington. In fact, both games could get ugly early--UT's style of ball will wear out UK and they'll quit early.

Maybe Lofton can start playing some basketball again in this game? This would be the team he would really want to play good against.

Someone posted about hearing that Saturday's game was UK's first win over a ranked team since 3/06. I can confirm that. It's true.

UK would have probably been buried for the season had Vandy pulled it out. Now, it is up to us to finish the job! We have a tough stretch coming up: Vandy, Ohio State, and @UK in six days. At least it's three teams that we should have no trouble getting up for.

Nobody on this board hates UK basketball as much as I do. Don't even try. Wow. I cannot believe how much better I feel having said that. Sometimes, you just have to let it all out. :peace2: I would be embarrassed to have Billy G for a head coach. Great win tonight. Now, let's get ready for next week's games! :salute:

I dont like vandy but i wouldnt call them mediocre, in case you missed it thats their first loss...

Just like Georgia was Hawaii's first loss in football...

If we'd played Vandy's schedule to this point, we'd be averaging 100 points per game and rated no worse than No. 3 in the country. All Stallings has done is hand-pick some teams with big names but mediocre teams (Georgia Tech, DePaul, Wake Forest and UMass) to pile up RPI points, filled in with cupcakes like Austin Peay and Lipscomb, and scheduled himself into the NCAA Tournament before the conference season even begins. He can go 8-8 in the SEC, lose in the first round of the conference tournament and still be 23-9.

Jerry Green would be proud.

Oh my. You guys taste a little success, and all of a sudden, you´re worse than Florida football fans.

Enjoy the run while it lasts.

You've got to be kidding me. Did Cat fan just lecture us about handling success and being level headed?

OK, hehe. I´ll pull the plank out of my eye when it comes to UK FB.

How long do you guys think that Bruce will stay at UT? Will you continue to compete then?

I may be completely wrong, but I think they'll do whatever it takes to keep him around for the long haul.

Even if he does go, he has proven that men's basketball can be successful at UT and he already done a lot to build up the program. It should attract some good coaches.

I'll go way out on the limb and say much longer than your current guy.

That's a good point. With the success he has had and the upgrades to the facilities, it would definitely be easier to attract a quality replacement than in previous coach searches.

Think just the fans are delusional? Check this quote from Ramel Bradley

Bradley told a group of Kentucky reporters Friday it'd be a great story if the season could end "with us not losing any games in SEC play and going to the Final Four after starting off 6-7."

Gee, I hope for their sake that they don't have to face Gardner-Webb in the NCAA's on their way to the Final Four.

A win over Vandy and it begins... Call in shows are being flooded here in Central KY with calls from Cat fans predicting KY will win the SEC East. :lolabove: :post-4-1090547912:

WoW, UT, Ole Miss, Miss. St., and Florida will all probably beat them this year. Yes vandy is pretty good but they only beat Sc by 7 so they can't be that good:birgits_giggle::birgits_giggle:
