Once again, the only benefit to getting Ware is the hope that it's enough to persuade Jones to stay committed.

Amen. Cuanzo will tell him not to let the door hit him on the way out. The LAST thing we need is another player who needs to be stroked.

Same goes for Jones, in my book. I'd rather suffer through a year or two.

U must be kidding. He avoided the whole recruiting process when he committed in 2009. Now that CBP is gone he wants to check out other schools. He doesn't know who even wants him because no one can contact him until he's released out of his LOI.

Mixed feelings here. On the one hand Ware comitted, on the other hand the coach and staff are gone. They didn't release the football players (Kiffin's recruits) when Dooley came in and Kiffin left and they stated policy as the reason, not in the best interest of UT. Will that be the case again? Should the new coach just get to pick his new players? Hate to see recruits get shafted but personally I think they will only hurt themselves in the end. Time will tell but think Martin is going to be much better than Pearl, and I'm a big Pearl fan.:whistling:
