Oh well. Who cares if Kevin Ware isn't coming. He had a nice buzz as a junior but didn't really progress as much as they tought he would his senior year. He's overrated and more than likely won't start.

So it's logical to get tore up over a kid with a 2* skill set who doesn't want to come to UT who you think "might" be a pretty good player by the time he leaves? Alright...just making sure I understood that!

Agree, with only 7 players (if Hopson and Harris leave), we need all the players we can get. If Harris stays and we get Ware and Jones and a post player, we could still be competitive next year,

The same people who say a player is overrated, which I'm not sure I undertstand considering he hasn't even stepped foot on campus yet, are the same "fans" that bitc* and moan when we only get 2 or 3 star players. There is absolutely no way to know until he plays and there is no way anyone can say we would better without Ware next year. That just shows a total and complete lack of understanding of how bad we could be next season.

No, its just an act of common sense and civility to not assume someone is an "attention getter" based on one statement. Even if he is an "attention getter" you really cannot fault the kid for changing his mind if the coach(s) he had built a relationship with is gone and the new staff runs completely different Offense/scheme, now can you? In all honesty your post sounds like the knee jerk reaction of a whining, pouty child that doesn't get his way. don't have to be on another level to recognize that, just level-headed.

Nice! Nail on the head! I hope he comes to knoxville but if there is somewhere better for this young guy, so be it. Its not his fault we are a mess right now. For people who are tired of seeing news from these recruits dont read it. Easy, huh?

Next season is about building a foundation. Bringing in Kevin Ware does nothing to help that.

Depends on how you define success. He will no doubt be a middle of the pack coach. Coaches who can really coach are few and far between. As I have said before it took UT 40 years of mediocre coaches to find a pearl. I look forward to coming on here next year and watching all the crying.
