Kiffin having trouble recruiting at USC?

On second thought, we need several to FB the link to ALL the recruits considering USC and the ones committed that aren't an EE!!!!!!! :dance2:

I doubt he's having problems right now. After USC gets a TV and bowl ban (hopefully) and Kiffin's "reputation" continues to grow, I could see the next few years being tougher than normal for USC.

NCAA does not ban tv anymore.

I think he is having some issues recruiting right now. Everyone now see that Al Davis was right about CLK. Also USC is in LA and doesn't have the greatest facilities. He's been recruiting players from the Southeast and it's probably difficult to get them to go live on the other side of the country. Plus everyone knows USC is going to be put on probation. That being said he probably has some silent commits announce on NSD, so he can get the pub about finishing strong.

Would recommend that all USC recruits ask to see the official NCAA letter outlining the allegations of violations. It would be cool if every recruit asked, first thing on campus, to see the "letter".

Not only that but I'm sure that recruits along with their parents have done some research on Lame and Co. leaving behind the mess at UT. Both of these would raise Red Flags:question: if it were me or as a parent.

Didn't Dennis Franchoni (sp?) get fired for doing the same thing at Texas A&M?

Coach Fran got fired because he could not win or recruit to A&M. But mainly due to not winning. Once A&M started going down was when Texas and OU started to take all the top recruits from Texas'

Sorry live near Dallas and have many A&M fans.

So here we are at the end of the last weekend before NSD and still NO COMMITMENTS from Kiffin. Very surprising IMO! USC still only has 14 commits! Making a big splash or not on NSD, its hard to believe Kiff will pull more than 10 commitments in one day! I see them ending up with a very small class.

They can only take 17.

Unfortunately he will probably sign a bunch of quality players on NSD. It's not like it's difficult to recruit at USC. The name and tradition pretty much do your job for you.

I was a No when this thread first started, but if he is offering Glen Stanley (who he didn't even think about here), then yes, he is struggling a little.

Dooley has had to change the guys he was recruiting, Kiffin didn't. Kiffin was already familiar with the people he is trying to get to UT, while Dooley wasn't. We found Stanley as a 'diamond' per say, because it was tough to get in on the bigger names. Kiffin is struggling to USC standards, if he is going after Stanley, even if he is going to be a stud. It is all about the rankings at USC when it comes to recruiting, and this shows he is not going to bring in those 3 big names on NSD.

It will be a P.R. disaster for Kiffin if UT beats him in the rankings. That is why he is targeting Stanley . CDD will replace Stanley with another 4* or higher nice try K.

Not sure if its been mentioned but USC has dropped to #11 and only has 13 recruits now. They had 14 yesterday. I love it! Keep telling those lies X.

I have a feeling he's going for the grande finale. He probably has a couple big name guys that he has asked to keep it quiet. That's how he works. I still think Ambles will head to USC due to that "Hollywood" remark.

Giovanni Di Paola, 4*C, has apparently de-committed and speculation is that he is now a UCLA lean. He is the reason for the drop in ranking.

Somebody at UCLA must know something about the impending sanctions to pull that kid .
