I say we break out the gasoline, stoke the fires under the stake, and drag Kiffin to the public square.

This sucks...how dumb can TN be to allow a person who doesn't know NCAA rules to post on Kiffin's behalf. More bad pub for the vols.

It was posted on Rivals High yesterday that Copeland commited. Whats the big deal? Not like it was a secret.

Until there is a National Letter of Intent signed, then the coach can't talk about the recruit. That is apparently extended all the way to saying xyz committed. I think that if they are asked, they can confirm - but they can't say the kid's name (maybe), but definitely not when not asked about it first.

I just think it is funny that people actually believe Kiffin has time to post on twitter, facebook, myspace, or any other site. This story just proves how many gullible people there are out there. I am sure if he does actually make a post, it is to a recruit, and he probably has to ask his assistant what the password is.

How many people do you think actually thought that was Kiffin posting? Very few I would argue - particularly considering how lame the tweets are...they are all public relations / kiss-butt pieces, not something that Kiffin seems to really care all that much about.

Obviously the media thinks its him... And if you turn on a sports talk station in knoxville right now you'll hear a few people saying they can't believe he would do this

You are right. All of this is associated to him though.

No on has been happier so far with Kiffin than me, but a 11 year old knows you can't talk about an unsigned recruit. Someone, whether it's him or his personal assistant, needs to get the rules straight or something.
