Marshall was 1-2 against p5 opponents this year. They beat Florida team by 3 points. Lost to a pretty bad wake forest team by six points and then lost to Virginia tech in the tournament by a lot. Not bad for a mid major if we are being honest.

You know the issue will be her record against ranked teams.

With long athletic and can shoot. He'll they fit anyone's system. Plus both love UT, if she gets after them they'll cone back. Just need to feel the love. Should be her first calls.

Maybe they can do like Survivor challenges and have one opponent sit out.

Not remotely comparable situations

I don't get the comparison to Pat either. The situations back in the 1970's were very different. Women's basketball was an afterthought. Pat was one of the pioneers in making it not be an afterthought - but the truth is, when she was hired, no one cared that she was hired. Many of the women's games were played before the men's game.

This is 2024, women's basketball is not an afterthought - it is a big business. KC is not going to be given years to prove herself. She has to win the first year and be competitive.

The good thing for me is I know how this will end, so I won’t get emotional like I’ve been during the years. I’ll always watch and support every game but this is the end of us winning championships, we will have to hope for the moral victories and hope to be some kind of Cinderella.
