Pope Francis is wrong .
In his opinion homosexual unions may not be actual unions but according to the laws of the USA and several other nations they are, in fact actual unions.

I do agree they are far from what God's wants.

He keeps giving mixed messages. It was stated the only private meeting he had in the USA was with one of his former gay students and his boyfriend.
Does the Pope have a problem with homosexual relationships or does he not?

He can say whatever he chooses but like all politicians, his actions speak louder than his words.

On a side note. What good would it do the gay friend or anyone else to go confess their sins to the pope or any other man?

He or no other human being can forgive anyone of their sins.

My dr treats me for my problem with meds, hospitalization, surgery , etc.

I go see him to be treated for whatever illness I have. I don't need his advise on on to live a healthy life. I know how to do that the same as I know what I need to do when I am out of fellowship with God.

When I am troubled with my Christianity I have me a little talk with Jesus and if he chooses to he forgives me or has me suffer a little longer.

The Bible is very, very clear the ONLY mediator between man and God is Jesus Christ. Man can pray for others but NO MAN can be the mediator between man and God.

I'd have to check my analytics and consult the chart to find out of it's part of the process. Of course a meeting that short would require some maturation to grow into a winner. Although I might have to recruit the best staff in America to help guide my decisions, but would likely fall back on the advice of old friends in the matter.

In the end I'd either feel like I got gut punched or accept the single point instead of going for the sure win.
