Explain losing half the team last year and already having 5 guys out this year before the season starts jackarse

GT lost like 6 RB's 1 QB 1 or 2 OLmen 1 LB 1 DT along with others in 2015. It was just a freak thing that year and that's what happened to UT last year. Injuries happen, I highly doubt y'all are recruiting injury prone kids. Now if y'all are training to hard ect, that can cause injuries, but that doesn't make the kid injury prone.

Ugggghhhhhh. Either Butch needs to stop recruiting players made of glass or we need to change up how we're practicing because I refuse to believe that the amount of injuries we've had these past 3 seasons is just a coincidence

Go ahead and lay the blame on our coach. Most ridiculous assumption I have heard in the last week. It happens in all sports to any team and any coach. Sounds like A two year old child.

A lot of our injuries could still be leftovers of bad S & C before Rock got here

Sometimes those injuries are months in the making from bad technique, too much weight, and not enough rest between sessions. These young guys think they can throw all that weight around and its cool, but its not good on the joints and tendons

High reps will still build strength and add endurance without all the strain the heavy weight puts on your tendons and joints

Actually, it happened to UT in the two years prior also. Most of those injuries occurred in August. One of the biggest bones I pick with Jones is that he brought Lawson with him as the S&C coach.

IMO, injuries this year are "normal". Not good... but "normal".

Tough break for him and the Vols, he's easily they best player on defense this upcoming season. So I guess all that's left to say is next man up!!
 
No, we won't be OK, but go ahead and pretend that we will be. This is a major blow, or do people forget how injuries affected our defense a year ago. I just read that Butili has had knee issues himself this camp and missed time because of it.

Jumper is a QB on D. He recognizes the plays and gets everybody in position. He's perfect for GT.

Umm. Nope. To be perfect for GT he needs to do that and run sideline to sideline AND be very physical at the point of attack.

Personally, I think Jumper is plenty fast enough. He isn't physical enough.

Don't get ahead of yourself. The recovery time varies based on the severity and the person.

Jacob Gilliam played with a torn ACL. I'm pretty sure guys have played with torn MCL's... but it isn't good for their long term health.

He played 5 or 6 games and played well. He. And his brother were tough as nails.

The difference between Real Champions and Life Champions:

When Bama has an injury to a star player, they have another star waiting in the wings and don't miss a beat.

We have an injury to a star player and we have to rely on a white walk-on and mass chaos ensues.
