You know what puzzles me. People continue to talk about Bronnys privilege but not one mention of JJ Reddick privilege. What did he do to deserve his job.
No reputable coach wants to be the number two man with the title head coach on that team.

in Lakers first preseason game. Also had 3 rbs, 2 assists, and a steal.

He looked very comfortable Playing at that level.
I wish that Dalton would have gotten drafted by any other team because Lebron is going to make the lakers play Bron jr over him a lot. I hate it for the kid cause he’s such a good ball player but everyone is going to be riding jrs sack.

True, them too. Wasn’t aiming for politics, more the white elite privilege.

I try to stay apolitical. Actually closer to total foocking apathy! 🤣

What are you even talking about? It's well known the Bronny will spend most of the season in the G-league. DK is fighting with Reddish, Christie and Lemon Daddy for minutes him and Bronny don't even play close to the same position or role. They are not even competing for minutes with each other. Any minutes Bronny plays would come at the expense of Vincent, Hood-Schifino or Russel.

Much like the NFL what minutes they all play in the final 2 games is more indicative of what the real rotation will be. Their first few games they are just getting looks at the bench and deciding who gets those last few 2 ways.. they are rotating in guys to fight for those last few roster slots. The Lakers currently have 21 guys on roster. Final rosters are on Oct21. This is the battle for 2ways and such for now.

These bottom 6 guys are competing with the Other 8 for roster spots. 8 of those 14 will make final roster. A few guys get 2-wayed and exibit 10 contracts.

You know they are both guards right?

They do not play the same position at all. Bronny is a PG he will only play the 1. DK is a 3/2. There will never be a POINT in time where DK plays the 1. If you have followed the Lakers the last few years you'll notice for the first time in his career Lebron is playing more of the ball and each year they have traditional point guards on the ball more. Last year for the most part it was Russel and Reeves with a sprinkle of DInwiddie when he was healthy. This year it will be much of the same with Vincent taking over Dinwiddie minutes... Bronny won't beat either of those guys out for minutes unless they are injured. Reeves also plays minutes at the 2 where the minutes were split with Prince and Reddish. DK will get some of those minutes along with some minutes at the 3. Max Christie (2-3) and Jalen Hood-Scifino (1-2) are also in the mix for minutes.

One thing people fail to understand is this. Lebron cares about winning more than anything. There has NEVER been any indication otherwise. If Bronny gets meaningful minutes it won't be because of nepotism. JJ Reddick isn't that type of guy either. It's kind of wild how all these conspiracy theories start without taking into account the actual personalities and track records of the people involved. The only conspiracy theory about Lebron and friends that has ever held water (pun intended) was the whole banana boat thing. It held said water because everyone in the click is a future hall of fame. Notice all of Lebrons 'friends' are good-great players?

It still just sickens me that he fell all the way to the Lakers. Of course, I want him to light it up to stick it to the teams that passed on him, but I despise pretty much everything about the current Lakers org.

Not how pro sports work. The guys that help you win the most are going to play, and it's obvious at this point DK is a much better player.

DK certainly isn’t afraid to shoot, but his efficiency the past few games has been pretty yuck. He’s going to have to improve that if he wants to get minutes in the real season.
So far this preseason 5-24 from 3 thats like 20%. The good news is he is 15-36 overall which is like 42% meaning he is 10-12 from inside the 3. Only has 2 free throw attempts 1-2. It looks like they are trying to make him a high volume version of JJ and letting him find his shot.

DK is averaging 27 mins a game (most on team) it looks like they are focusing on getting him and Max Christie (26) minutes. Bronny is only averaging 12 mins a game. It's interesting because though they play same position and role they are totally different flavors of 3 and D. Christie is slightly better D and Knecht a lot more 3 (theoretically)... So far Christie has 2 starts (at the 2 and 3) in games where they rested either James or Reeves. So it definitely looks like they are competing with each other for those 6th man minutes and Christie has the inside track being in this third year but as far as upside DK has the lean...he is slightly behind Christie at this moment. I think him showing he can hit shots these last few games makes the battle for 6th man interesting. They will both get heavy minutes I think.

that being said Cam Reddish hasn't gotten a lot of minutes not sure of that's because he is not playing/practicing well or they just know what he is and want the young guys to get minutes. he is the guy who they are competing with for the minutes as he is the guy who split those minutes with Taurean Prince last year and Prince is gone. They don't play again till Tuesday and they play their last 2 games on Thursday and Friday those 2 should be a closer preview of the actual rotation. Final cuts are 21st all four of the mentioned guys are pretty much on the roster.
