If he had one more year with the Vols, man we would light it up this year with our bigs on DI hate it for Dalton. He has just gone from one of the highest profile, glamour teams in the league to a franchise nobody pays any attention to. Maybe it will mean more minutes and a larger role for him? It just became much harder to watch his games now. I couldn't tell you the last time I watched any part of a Hornets game. That is a dead end franchise. This is kind of a bummer. I was excited when he was drafted by LA.
Home for us, not for his family. Im going to take the kids there next season when Grant is healthy to see them. I wish the Heat hadn’t already played there or we’d go this season. My sons are Heat fans so it would serve multiple purposes. He will also be much closer to home. Many Vols fans will be able to travel just over the mountains and watch him play.
Charlotte kept is headed for a lottery pick and could be on the rise but I think they should ship Ball this summer/fall.And he is much more likely to get some Tennessee fans support in Charlotte. Gets to be around Grant Williams, too. It's a nice landing spot for Vol fans who can now support two former Vols on the same team, though Grant is out for the season.
Name the last team to win the NBA championship without a center? I'll wait.... Golden State is the only one that has with small ball and even they had Kevon Looney. Also, no one really 'runs' a 5 out offense sometimes they might implement it during the course of a game or have their small ball lineup.. but the playoffs are a half-court game. The trend is going back to big men. You are not gonna get past Denver, Memphis, OKC in the west or Boston, Milwaukee, Cleveland New York in the east without a center.I agree with you but now with most NBA teams run 5 out offense and shoot 50 3pointers a game not sure a big is as important as they used to be. By the way I hate all the 3 point attempts
Jokic. A healthy Porzingas makes Boston even more formidable. Look at Cleveland's reemergence...you're spot onName the last team to win the NBA championship without a center? I'll wait.... Look at teams that lack a center.. not a single one is in the top 10 in East or West. They are all sitting in tank mode or the struggle bus fighting for a spot in the play-in. One could argue that Houston does not play a traditional center but they have Steven Adamas and Jock Landale. Even Golden State kept a few big men for specific matchups in the playoffs.
Actually, Luca and Lebron make lineups weird and all 3 of them are small forwards officially. Both of them are like SF/PG's so having them on the floor means you can have some weird mixes. Have you noticed the last few years outside of Lemon Daddy the guys getting most of the minutes are wings in the 6'6-6'9 range. Last season outside of Reeves and Russell the top 10 in minutes played were all small forwards or bigger. Add in Luka and it gets more crazy.Neither of those guys plays the same position as Knecht.
I pulled for Knecht for go for 25 and Lakers lose by 30. Not sure how the math works out, I just wanted him to be the only one on the team to do well and see the team loseHate the Lakers. Glad I can continue to do so now. I felt ashamed for even pulling for Knecht to score wearing that jersey. Big relief.
The best news for Knecht is that he doesn’t have to struggle anymore to keep a straight face when they keep trying to act like Bronny is a legitimate NBA player.
There isn't any reason they can't get better. Maybe Knecht can be a catalyst to jump start that team into an exciting and playoff contending squad. Renewed excitement for the fan base too.In many ways, LA was a good landing spot for him. In other ways, LA is a clown show. DK is going to a horse crap team, but he’s likely to get more playing time which opens the door to more growth.
Neither one is asked to do the same thing as Knecht. Officially, no one really has any positions these days. Knecht is a pure wing who could slot in as a 2 or 3, while Luka is really a point guard, and LeBron basically does a little bit of everything.Actually, Luca and Lebron make lineups weird and all 3 of them are small forwards officially. The Lakers have 2 players on the whole roster under 6'5 (Bronny and VIncent both 6'2). Pretty much their whole rotation is Luka or bigger.
Yeah, he had good mentors and great exposure in a winning team with a couple greats. In many ways, LA was a good landing spot for him. In other ways, LA is a clown show. DK is going to a horse crap team, but he’s likely to get more playing time which opens the door to more growth.
