Nobody at Bourbon Bird when I went by but the sign says now hiring and opening soon. Have no idea how long it’s been that way.

I've never seen a place work so hard to get ready, remodel, and then just not open. Even Corner 16 had months long delays but they opened in the end.

What is really odd is that nobody from the restaurant is responding to inquiries.

They've probably finally realized that spot is " dead man walking" territory and scuttled the idea.

anybody worried about the bourbon bird, can check out the Blackhorse...
It's still serving a great "red", beer cheese app, and other great entrees

I finally went there. Sweet. I had the Coal Miner's Stout and it was pretty damn good. Reuben was tasty, as well.

We went to Cru in Turkey Creek last weekend, and it has just not been very good the past couple of visits. When your soup appetizer is the highlight of your meal, it's probably not a great dinner. It feels like they are relying more on the wine/bar scene and neglecting the food a bit.

I HEARD they weren’t making enough to pay rent and turn a profit as well as going through several managers in a year

They had a cru in Frisco tx it was cougar town i dont think anybody even ordered food.
