Knoxville wants to suspend alcohol sales at Neyland

Looks like sneaking in airplane bottles will start again.

Horrible article. It doesnt say of police issues are up since they started selling beer. This is a key issue when a local rep says she had concerns before they started this. Sounds like people (officials) trying to find a way to get their pockets lined.

The personal fines aren't massive. But yes they got fired and can't serve booze
It's 1,500 dollars to the guy who served it and up to a year in jail... Not to be a dick but I don't know that the people who work the kiosks have 1500 to throw away. I know I don't.

It's just dumb that someone can't take 10 seconds to ID and save themselves the pain of losing a job and not being allowed to work anywhere that sells alcohol for 7 years. But back to the point I'm sure someone in a high place is going to make sure there's no booze ban.

The reality of it is people gonna bring it anyways if they wanna drink. My guess would be they are not getting drunk off of beer but liquor they bring. Anyways I’m a non drinker but I think as long as it is safe why try to ruin responsible drinkers time.
