I mean when a DBs “highlights” are about 1:30 long and most of them consist of him making tackles on passes he gave up and 2 of his 3 SEC offers are Vandy and Kentucky that should tell you something. I hope I’m wrong, but this guy doesn’t seem like a starting SEC caliber corner. There’s no picks and very few pass breakups on well thrown balls. He may be a depth guy at the star position, but I don’t see how anyone thinks he’s a starting corner for a team looking to play in Atlanta in December

The buzz: Cristian Conyer is a top five prospect in Kentucky, and the Wildcats are trending on the On3 RPM, but I am hearing Tennessee is a major threat to the in-state school. He is in regular contact with Kelsey Pope and Josh Heupel at Tennessee. He has been to Knoxville before and will visit again, this time officially, the weekend of June 24. Conyer is set to visit Kentucky this weekend. I logged a prediction for the Vols this week. A commitment date of July 3 has been set.
