‘23 KY CB Cristian Conyer (Tennessee transfer)

Conyer caught a short pass that he turned into a 28-yard gain and added a 15-yard run while also playing on defense Saturday in South Warren's 49-14 victory over Highlands High School of Fort Thomas, Ky., in the season-opening Rafferty's Bowl, which was played at Western Kentucky University's Houchens-Smith Stadium. The Spartans will travel to Hendersonville (Tenn.) High School on Friday night.

I guess it's possible he played defense but didn't record any recognized stats. I talked to some people who were at the game, and they only remembered the run and reception. Honestly, he's not a big deal here in his home town.

I would be willing to bet he probably didn’t get very much defensive stats because the other team probably didn’t throw or run the ball in his direction or area.

What HS coach would challenge him? A dumbass hs coach, that’s who. First thing we studied in film session on Monday was who we attack and who we don’t. Reputation means a lot.

Cristian made an appearance in the Live Chat on the Talking Vawls call in show the other day, and said how much he loves this fanbase. Boogie threw and offer out to him and other '23 recruits to come on his show, start getting their personalities out there, and building their brand for the next level. It was a pretty cool thing to see.

That’s pretty weird considering how bad uk coaches and fans wanted him there

Is actually watch that show more if they got recruits on there. I like what he’s doing with the show, but 99% of the time it’s just the same info I get here.

Not a big deal now that he is committed to Tennessee. He seemed like a big damn deal when they were all crying over losing him.
