I have a friend that coaches at Bowling Green and he said he wasn’t that impressed with him either. He is a UK fan so I didn’t know if he was just mad because he committed to Tennessee or being honest. Our high school plays them first round of the playoffs so I will get to see for myself. He is playing Greenwood tonight. So far not impressed.

Probably correct. Only reason I mentioned it was because of the other posters comments. Looking forward to seeing him play in the next couple of weeks.I have a feeling If he committed to UK that’s not what your friend would say. UK’s salty ass coaches were even subtweeting the kid when he committed to UT.
@Weezer moves to the edge of his seat.Lotta DN scouts in here tonight.
Our HC that just beat Bama also had Joe Milton starting over this year’s Heisman front runner to open the season last year. They’ve made wrong evaluations before. This is likely one of them. That’s ok though. Every recruiting class has a few misses. Having both Gibson, Matthews, and Scott will help nullify that miss if it does in fact happen and hopefully we get a stud corner or two in the portal this season. Maybe the staff sees something they can bring out of him after a few years of coaching, but I seriously doubt he ever makes an impact at corner for us. Especially considering the corners we will likely be bringing in for the 2024 class with Beasley and Carter. It’d really be nice to get back into the Ja’Keem Jackson sweepstakes. Because we need guys that can play man and Conyer ain’t thatA lot of people say this guys sucks but our coach who just beat bama mind you gave him a scholly…….
Hmmmmm….. who should I trust

Have you seen him play against big time competition in person or are you just saying that because the staff wants him? Because I, apparently along with members of his own coaching staff and people that have watched him in person haven’t been impressed with him. The only other big time program that wants him is Oregon and his only other SEC offer is from a historical bottom feeder in Kentucky. I can see his potential at nickel, but we already have those and Tyler Scott is a far better player at that spot and looks better at corner as wellYou're very wrong about him.
Kentucky has been consistently putting DBs in the NFL recently so I wouldn't consider their evaluation as a negative.Have you seen him play against big time competition in person or are you just saying that because the staff wants him? Exactly, Hazle described as getting him to let loose. You could see in the Spring game how he only wanted to dump it off. That was the report out of camp also. And of course with no contact they couldn’t evaluated his Dobb’s like elusiveness.Starting Milton wasn’t the wrong move at the time. Everyone who saw preseason not only said Milton was better, but WAY better. Hooker looked awful in the spring game that year too. Just because the light later came on for Hooker doesn’t mean the coaches misevaluated. The light seems to be coming on for Milton now too and he’ll likely be a star next season.

Dude....why do i keep having to rehash the same stuff to you? You keep using the same points of Kentucky being "nothing"..that just aren't real anymore. They're in the top half of the SEC in draft picks since 2016.
I was critical of Conyers just 3 months ago. His sophomore tape was better than his junior tape. This season he's starting to round back into that sophomore tape form of being dominant.
Except that his taller older and faster now.
