I have not watched KY all year and assumed their record was a result of a weak schedule up to this point. I realize Mizzou is not good, but KY looks pretty good against them. They look like the have a good running game at least.

You do realize if they win and UGA beats FLA, Kentucky is in 1st place in the East

I'd be pretty stoked if Kentucky rolled into Neyland with first place in the East on the line.

Go Dawgs! (only time I'm saying that ****)

Yea, technically tied with TN I think and TN would have the tie-breaker. Irrelevant though since the teams will play each other.

Looks like they may be the best team remaining on our schedule though. The way our defense has looked against the rush, we may need to score a lot.

I don't get the "we will roll them" - I would love that of course, but the team has honestly looked like crap all year. Every game we come out slow and unprepared, turnovers galore, and we have been lucky to have the comebacks that resulted in wins. It's just not the way anyone expected this team to look this year. Add in the millions of injuries, and I just don't have confidence we roll anyone. These last few games in the SEC will not be cakewalks.

Nope, they would be in 1st all by themselves. 4-2 in the east vs 3-2 (counting the USC game as a win tonight). I agree with Butchna, reality awaits but would make for a good trivia question on the last time Ky lead the east after halfway. I'm going out on a Huge limb here and saying never.

Don't sweat it, enjoy it. Close games? Yep, but WINNING close games sure beats losing them like the last decade no? Best team in a decade, sit back, relax, and enjoy the trip to Atl.

The UK/UT rivalry is similar to the UT/UF rivalry. No matter how many times we played UF, we'd always find a way to lose year after year until recently. Same against UK. No matter how hard they tried to play us, they'd end up getting the crap beat out of them. I expect similar results this year IMO.

I agree that Kentucky looks well-coached today...but slow. Speed is relative, so it's sometimes hard to see when you're playing another slow team.

As usual, that'll be our biggest advantage when we face the 'Cats next month.

Kentucky is a just product of their easy schedule. Mizzou is just that bad plus they lost 2 of their best players on D. I mean props to UK for taking advantage of the schedule, minus Southern Miss, but the only 2 good teams they've played against didn't struggle with them at all.

Also, an already not deep Missouri team lost its 2 best defensive lineman last week. So take that into consideration. Ky is definitely playing much better football but their competition just lost to MTSU and has gotten even worse due to those injuries.

Kentucky gave up against Florida after being upset in the opener by Southern Miss. After that they have played good ball and gave bama a better game than we did and they were on the road.

Their recruiting gains mirrored our recruiting classes but weren't quite as good but were very good for Kentucky. I expected them to be a 3rd or 4th place team this year.

They have Georgia at home next week and I view that as a toss up game right now.

We should beat them but they are by far the best team left on the schedule.
