KY looks good.

I am not one to excuse a teams failures on injuries but for Vols this year it really has been devastating and even with a couple guys coming back we are still w/out two of our best impact players in Sutton and Reeves Maybin. Bama doesn't have this injury issue...neither does anyone to this extent. It's just unfortunate cuz who knows how the A and M and Bama games play out if we were healthy. A lost season basically that we have to crawl out of and make the best of. What can u say except that it sucks.

I have not watched KY all year and assumed their record was a result of a weak schedule up to this point. I realize Mizzou is not good, but KY looks pretty good against them. They look like the have a good running game at least.

Mizzo would make a high school team look like Alabama

Happens every year... Then reality. :)

From a recruiting standpoint, Kentucky is going to Ohio and getting the left over players that T.O.S.U. does not want.
Guess those recruits would rather play at Kentucky than Miami of Ohio, Akron, Bowling Green, Toledo or Cincinnati.
S.E.C. as opposed to MAC
My sister in law is a professor at U.K. I can always easily go to a game there. Just leave Nashville and head north for a few hours.

I'm hard on them and they're bad, but they're not that bad. They were at least able to beat the, what, the 4th or 5th best college team in Delaware?

Had they lost to the FCS team, yeah I would entirely agree with that statement though.

Ok so if they have lost 2 SEC games and one of was to Florida. How would they be #1 in the east even with a Florida loss. What am i missing ?

They have played and won more Sec games. No worries, it won't last.

I was just so excited about the cross-conference talk, just had to capture the whole evolution of the idea. :)

Well, cool. I've never seen it done like that.

Last time I was in a discussion with you, I got excited and made an ass out of myself.:)

You're good, Behr, I don't remember you ever making an ass out of yourself. Your comments are always bright and usually amusing, from what I've seen. :hi:

UK did it way before UT did it and made it popular. It's definitely UTs now, but UK has history with it.

Yeah, LittleCat, but no one remembers that. All anyone knows today is that cheggerboards = Vols, and Kentucky suddenly are using cheggerboards. Hehe. :good!:

Not the point. UK has history there which plenty of people don't know about it.

IMO, and I know I will get heat for saying this, Vandy is the one game that scares me the most.

Shouldn't care. But evidently they do if they continually point it out.

Oh, no, definitely don't care. Heh.

But do think the imitation by Kentucky is flattering to the Vols. As for me personally, I just like seeing it on Ky's, uniforms, because it reminds me of our Volunteers. :)

They're not terrible. They're an average team imo. Just speaks to how terrible Mizzou is

Congrats to our Kentucky fans! I'm glad to see it. You guys are showing some toughness and some offense.
