KY looks good.

To be fair, I don't know how much Bama cared about UK, which could explain why they started so slow. Yes, we did limit them to 34, which is good, I take it with a grain of salt. It's easier to get hyped for SEC West teams and UT rather than someone like UK.

Yet we've whipped UK since Butch has been here.

For some reason the last few years we've played about as poorly as possible and UT has played about as perfectly as possible. Last year Dobbs looked like a heisman winner, Berry scored two special teams touchdowns, etc.

edit: And of course part of this is having to with our poor play...but I don't know if Dobbs ever threw a better ball than he did to Malone or whoever since.

GAs O-line is pitiful. Josh Allen and Denzil Ware can get after Eason. If KY plays clean, you'll win by 10.

After looking at some actual #s KY D has been pretty porous. When they have played an offense of any capability what so ever, they have given up 500 yds or more (I am counting the 488 surrendered to Bama in this as well). Mizzou just put up 386. Vandy even put up near 300 yds. While I think it might be a close one, I'll take uGa in this one.

I expect GA to play much better than last week. If I recall Cheney's offense looked pretty good last time against KY (2012, right). But then again, that was Joker's last year & you guys got some good DEs going against one of the worst O-lines in SEC. Plenty of talk down here in local area about folks not being surprised if Dawgs lose this one. Obviously KY will stack the box and ask Eason to beat them. Only good receiver GA has is the TE Nauta. For TNs sake next week I will be pulling for KY. Guess I'm hoping you'll come in overconfident, should you beat uGa.

I've had season tickets to UK football for years and this team is improved. Their O line is 2 deep at every position and allows them to run the ball against anyone. D is suspect at times but the development of a running game has allowed them to dominate TOP, aiding the defense.

UK does not have the QB play to have a wide margin of error against any SEC opponent but if they can play 2 clean games in a row I think the worst they do is 1-1 at home vs UGA and on the road vs UT.

Lol. 0-2 for sure, now. Not to mention 1-31 since 1985. Sad stuff.

Not the point. UK has history there which plenty of people don't know about it.

Of course plenty of people don't know about it, LC. It was 1930. That is before tv. So unless you attended a game in 1930 you would have no memory of it. :dunno:

Much of Mizzou and Vandy yardage in garbage time when the game was essentially over.

Wut?!? I agree with you about Mizzou, but the score in the Vandy game at the end of the 3rd Qtr was 17-10, UK leading. Vandy kicked a FG early in the 4th qtr, then UK kicked a FG with 1:38 left in the game to go up on Vandy 20-13. The 'dores then drove down and got in the red zone and missed a chance to tie with a throw into the end zone at the end of the game. I am trying to understand how the yards Vandy gained in that drive would be considered 'garbage time' yardage considering the game was still in doubt.

They're like a single, older hot chick. Look good at first glance but when you start digging a little bit you'll find herpes.

I don't think it was necessarily garbage time, but it was clear UKs defense was asleep out there on the last drive. When they finally got to the redzone they woke up and played hard.
