Kyle Busch is a chicken

You remind me of the guy that sat just down the row from me at the all star race a few years ago. He was a 40 something year old man with an M&M's shirt on who kept acting like an eight year old when shrub would pass someone. When little Kyle blew his motor, the look of butthurt on that guy's face was unforgettable because he had made an ass of himself all night trash talking everyone else around him and going way out of his way to act like he didn't like junior.

Who is your driver?

And you must have me mistaken for somebody else. Happens all the time. I simply explain I'm not Brad Pitt and they go on their way.

Harvick dominated the regular season last year, and Johnson/Hendrick is a little behind in technology. Kevin has a 3-5 year window in which he will get a title.

His window is closing faster than that. He's 35 right now.

I can think of, off the top of my head, three guys who have captured the Cup past his age in the last 30 years: Senior, Jarret and Bobby Labonte (maybe DW?). He has maybe two years left and then you're looking at defying history.

Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? No.

His team really turned it around last year and you could argue it was the best of his career, and he still couldn't get the job done. And it's only going to get harder with Edwards, Hamlin and the younger Busch all hitting primes.

I'm a Jr/Harvick kind of guy. Not as much of a Jr fan anymore, but it's hard to cheer for someone who doesn't give you much to cheer for. I used to absolutely hate Kyle Busch, but I'm trying to give the guy a shot. It's just that every time I start backing off the guy, he goes and does something bone headed like overreacting on Saturday night and running away from someone he clearly pissed off. Then his fans come to his defense like intentionally wrecking someone, running their empty car into a pit wall while running away, and hiding behind NASCAR officials to keep from getting your neck fat slapped off is totally rational. All of this being done by a guy with the nickname "Rowdy".

Jr is ahead of harvick as well

Jr. and Letarte seem to be a good match. Dale still needs to eliminate those late race mistakes that always seem to kill him weather it's speeding on pit road or running over the commitment cone but he has looked better.

The driver switch hasn't worked too well for Mark Martin so far.

I think Jr will win one or two this yr. He has been pretty consistent

The good thing for Jr. is that he has been able to close out races for the most part, and he has been solid on the intermediate tracks. Both of these things have plagued him in the past.

I don't have a prob w harvick or Kyle. However I like kyles driving style better

Harvick has 2 Busch Championships, a Daytona 500, a Brickyard 400, and multiple Nascar owners trophies.

Busch trophies are like minor league championships. Big deal.

Busch has a Coke 600. Harvick has a Daytona 500. Draw.

The only race that matters in Indy is 500 miles, not 400.

Busch isn't competing against Harvick as an owner, so that's not relevant.

Busch has more wins and poles. Top 10s are a draw.

Oh, and Kurt has a Championship.

I like how you no longer throw in All Star (ie exhibition) wins now that Kurt had those too.

I don't know why you continue to debate this with me.

Let's throw in the all-star races. Harvick has two victories.

Alk other things equal, those don't trump a Championship.

Just stop.

You're the one who actually tried to include poles into some relevancy. I guess that means Ryan Newman and Kasey Kahne are first ballot HOF's.

I'm comparing them based on the last 10 weeks.

Nice try, again.

Again, Harvick has an additional victory over Johnson and that's all that matters with this format. Just stop trying to compare the two, obviously Johnson is a 5 time defending champ.
