Did you watch the game? Prater had a couple drops and didn't do anything till late. Ambles had a great catch for 40+ and a few more that were called back for illegal formations or false starts. Ambles also had a nice run.

Prater did kill it in practice but Ambles showed up to play!

Now with all that being said, neither had a QB that could get the ball to them. They should have brought the reality show guy in earlier while Prater and Ambles were playing.

Bottom line is....Prater and Ambles lined up together could be a nightmare for some DC's.

What would make you even think that? If anyone isn't afraid of competion its Ambles. He has a chip on his shoulder and wants to prove he's as good or better than any WR ou there including Prater. He the last WR that would be concerned with him coming to UT. Now Jones, Rogers, Teague etc may not see the field if he does.

Funny how so many people where just saying yesterday that there is NO WAY he is coming to UT. Now the same people are saying he is a lock. Lol. I love this site. Even if nothing is going on some of you are very entertaining.

Anyone know how close Prater and Dillion Baxter are? I know they were going to both committ to USC, but if we could get one of them, it could help persuade the other to come along as well... Did anyone find out when Prater is actually visiting here though I also heard he is supposed to visit UF..

Guys - any comparisons based on one game are ridiculous and unfair to both guys. For one thing, the East had TERRIBLE QB play in that game (watched it on DVR late last night).

There is no doubt they're both ridiculously talented guys,

Prater > Ambles. He did in practice and he did in the season. One game is not going to change that. Regardless Ambles is still my favorite recruit in the class.

Prater had so much going through his mind playing that game. I know that players are supposed to let things go when they take the field, but it's not that easy. Prater can flat out play and he probably is better than Ambles (not saying Ambles is bad the kid can play too) but in the end when Prater has his head straight he is better than Ambles..

Im not getting my hopes up with this one. Getting him on campus would be huge but I just dont see him coming to UT.

Both Ambles and Prater had key drops and catches in the game...i say they were equal, but Prater was more sold in the game since he's the #1 WR in the country.

I totally agree that Prater is probably the better WR.

He is claiming the Prater had the better game yesterday.

Like I said, the qb's were horrible and you could tell that Prater had a lot on his mind but come on now. Ambles had a better game.

jones and teague wont loose there spots especially jones we can do without rodgers
