Should KR have allowed himself to be beaten, possibly to death? Is that your idea of a "fair" outcome in all of this. Open carry allowed him to protect himself from violence he didn't initiate, so it seems to have worked.Honestly, this doesn't seem like the best case for advocates of open carry to point to, do you?
At least in this case the person in question had basically no other choice. (not eligible to carry and handgun) Only long guns were legal for him to carry.
These are also the one saying it wasn't his property and he shouldn't be involved yet wanted everyone masked and vaxxed for thier safetyI still don't understand people who have a problem with KR "being there" yet have no problem with the protesters "being there". Seems extremely hypocritical to pretend one side was somehow justified in being there, and one side was not. No one "needed" to be there. Both sides had the freedom to be there.
Well he did give the white power sign while posing for a photo with some Proud Boys at a bar where he was illegally drinking beer.Will any of our liberal friends denounce those fanning the flames by claiming Kyle is a white supremacist? Zero evidence of that. Call these media people and politicians out for lies.

You may well be correct. I’m really not trying to argue.I don’t actually believe that’s correct but even if so, what evidence is there that suggests any of the encounters were the fault of Rittenhouse?

Flashing the white power sign for a photo with some Proud Boys is pretty damn incriminating.

Again, not sure what legal hurdles need to be cleared in a Civil proceeding.
There may well be a higher hurdle to prove you did enough to “retreat”. I really don’t know.
@BowlBrother85 @RockyTop85 @ClearwaterVol anybody wanna weigh in?
Of his character, not his actions. The FBI tape seems to clearly show he was not the instigator. If he had never been threatened, he wouldn't have been justified in defending himself. You can dislike a person while still acknowledging the legality of their actions. Even ass holes have rights.Well he did give the white power sign while posing for a photo with some Proud Boys at a bar where he was illegally drinking beer.
