Yeah Mitchell love to watch her play.... and create her shot..... poetry in motion..... but when i look at our roster from top to bottom..... i see talent .... a lot of it..... not talent that coaches have necessarily maximized but talent to the level that we can play with USC and beat them..... good luck tonight

The front courts will be the difference. Coates can bang but I think Graves can match her. Moore will be the X factor. She has play more composed without reaching and fouling. I think Carter can guard Mitchell. Massengale, Burdick and Graves have to make their shots.

Coates is going to be a big matchup problem. She's bigger and taller than Bashaara, and she's just as physical. They need to deny her in the post and hope they can pick up some frustration, over the back calls on her.

Carter did a good job of guarding Mitchell in the last matchup and if I remember correctly, she was the 3rd leading scorer behind Simmons and Izzy. She needs to be aggressive on offense if they are to have a shot.

Welch was tough last year, and Burdick couldn't stop her. I think Burdick is playing light years better than she was last year, so Burdick/Nared vs. Welch/Wilson is not a one sided matchup.

Why should Duke have beaten them?

Oh wow did you see the game...... Duke was up with i think 5 seconds to go.... and they could not get the ball inbounds...... i think it was Greenwell who gave it up.... and USC scored...... a pitiful effort by a Number 1 national team vs. a sorry Duke team

If Andy had any self respect left, he'd resign.

I've been a huge Andy fan for his whole career, even before he began at UGA but the team efforts he has out on the floor these past few years have been dreadful. When you are in charge of a program it's your fault when they stink even if you aren't out there playing. I think he should be fired just for shoddy recruiting if not anything else.
A major issue I see with Women's college basketball is coaches are allowed to stay past their shelf life. A great reason for that is some schools could care less about their women's programs. However, except for Kentucky, Florida, Arkansas, LSU, A&M, Tennessee, and Missouri seem to be the only SEC teams that care about men's basketball. In the Women's game such basketball powers as Old Dominion, University of Texas, Texas Tech, Stephen F. Austin and Louisiana Tech were allowed to decay. I give Arkansas credit they saw their program heading South and replaced the coach. I think that there are way too many mediocre Women basketball coaches who are given a pass when they should be fired.
