The Tennessee women's basketball program is dead to me now. Will no longer be traveling hundreds of miles to watch them play. Will no longer watch the games.

Will cheer for UCONN as they destroy Tennessee. Of course the Tennessee players, in order to avoid a blowout against UCONN, may come down with the Chinese virus as the game draws near.

Anyone else find it irritating that instead of writing an article about us beating the #13 team in the county ESPN chose to write two or three sentences about them kneeling for the National Anthem? The main thing Voepel wanted to point out was that many fans booed. Yet again throwing shade at Tennessee. Have always felt her writing is pure drivel anyhow, she mostly just agrees with Creme or Hayes (who are both equally terrible IMO). Seems to me she doesn’t watch a lot of games because her analysis is always terrible and her predictions are generally wrong.

ESPN needs to revamp their women’s basketball coverage. It’s like 3 white guys and Mechelle, who adds nothing interesting. I feel the people reporting on women’s basketball should reflect the athletes...which would be younger women and certainly some women of color.

I dislike Mechelle Voepel, but she’s even more annoying lately. In the post game pressers she asks no questions about basketball. Only social and COVID issues. She’s a sports writer for crying out loud!!! Sports are supposed to be an escape from all the other things going on in the world. Ask a question about the game they just played or their upcoming schedule.

I haven't spent years supporting UCONN, I am done with Tennessee women's basketball, except for looking at the box scores and SEC standings to keep up with their coming failures.

The Lady Vols should focus on improving their individual and team play instead of trying to improve their Brand as social justice warriors.

If the athletes are preaching social justice and unity for their cause why are they kneeling at the anthem when that only further divides the people. Half the public are going to condemn their actions while the other support. That’s unity?

Could you imagine applying for a job in a few months and answering questions about this? Apparently Kelly says they suprised her with the demonstration.

They want to be good citizens. That is their version of a good citizen, not giving your coach a heads up on your moves.

I'll just stick to my stance of watching youtube on my computer with an ad blocker enabled and if and when I want to watch anything on the TV it's recorded on my Tivo so i can skip any and all commercials and abhorrent behavior before I delete the show entirely. Screw this cancel culture, identity politics among people today, I don't watch them and I don't contribute financially to it. UT is all but dead to me.

I'm sure they're all absolutely heartbroken to no longer have your support. Will they ever recover?
