Anyone else find it irritating that instead of writing an article about us beating the #13 team in the county ESPN chose to write two or three sentences about them kneeling for the National Anthem? The main Voepel wanted to point out was that many fans booed. Yet again throwing shade at Tennessee. Have always felt her writing is pure drivel anyhow, she mostly just agrees with Creme or Hayes (who are both equally terrible IMO). Seems to me she doesn’t watch a lot of games because her analysis is always terrible and her predictions are generally wrong.

agree with you and maybe recruits read the article and idk maybe took it some way..its no secret that Tennessee is a conservative state and some of their fans are conservative and took offense to the kneeling....then maybe going to schools like uconn and schools out west who tend to be more liberal and align with their views is more attractive then getting booed at you own home who are supposedly supposed to be ur fans ..wonder how the Arkansas players who all stood for the anthem feel abt our players getting booed at home...

That may be true, because if Harper said she didn't agree with the player's actions, the players could begin causing problems for Harper, including having her investigated and fired.

I think Pat would have supported the team 100% in kneeling. For those of us who have never been a young black person we should probably strive to understand what they are saying not dismissing them out of hand.

Nope. It is the ABSOLUTE dumbest way to "show your frustration". Do something else. KNEELING during the NA will automatically piss off at least 50% of your fan base. WHY do that? People are so into the "look at me, Im woke" BS, they don't think about what their doing. Im pretty damn SURE that Pat Summitt wouldve told them its NOT happening, they can figure out something a bit smarter. You did hear the boos, right? Yeah... again, great look.
