That field was junk the other day when it was dry.My only concern is weather-related. At the moment, (almost noon EST) it looks to be raining on weather radar and around 37 degrees with winds from the west @ 7 mph. It apparently has been raining for a couple of hours and it is expected for showers to continue until around 4:00. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they delayed the match until around 4:00. I doubt they will and with the previous hours of rain, the damage to the turf will already be done.
All things considered, I'd imagine the pitch will be pretty sloppy generally and muddy between the goalposts. I worry that the field conditions combined with the weather may limit our speed and make it hard to be as aggressive as we usually are. While I recognize that Michigan has to play on the same turf, conditions seem to favor them.
On the other hand, maybe I just worry too damn much!
