Okay...I have to say I was wrong earlier when I said we didn't deserve to win this game. The girls showed real grit, sucked it up and won this game going away!

Now...let's make it two in a row tomorrow!

Great win! Bats are back, and we're starting to get production from the middle of the order. Hope Arnold can get her mojo back tomorrow.

Me too! She can do it if she doesn't get to wound up. She just has to trust her spin and not try too hard to throw perfect pitches. A decent plate ump would help a lot.

We'll see the pitcher that pitched game one tomorrow. I was not that impressed with her pitching although we certainly couldn't hit her. She looked like she could be hit but I guess doing is a lot harder.

Arnold is all about control if she is throwing early strikes and getting ahead of batters she is tough. Here lately she has been walking way to many batters.

Bama would have to win tonight and tomorrow and we need to win tomorrow for us to finish second.
Winning tomorrow is huge for the Super Regional for us. We'll get a bye in the SEC tourney but right now looks like Bama could be a team we might play in the first game.

I do not think we will see Morrison unless we are leading a lot or behind a lot. Her control has been a problem all year and yesterday not much better.

If we could get five good innings out of Arnold I think Moss would be good for the final two. The key is scoring runs like today and the pitcher tomorrow doesn't walk many you have to hit the ball.

Like I said guys this team fights! Don't give up on them....Bearden and Holcomb should start tomorrow along with Weimer....Like I said in an earlier post I would start Weimer her offense is good but her throws to 2nd may take a little longer but hey if a team's speedsters can't get on base we have nothing to worry about

I will reluctantly admit I watch the Alabama and auburn game last night. Osoria walked 10 I think and struck out 19 and still should have won. they did not hit the ball. I don't see them winning 2 games.

We got that left handed number two pitcher in the nation coming in next season so with Moss being a junior and Arnold a sophomore pitching will certainly be looking up next season. Still got to play this one and were really a two pitcher team. I was kind of surprised Morrison got in an SEC game on the road so we'll see what happens tomorrow.

A&M's pitching is hittable like I said during the Florida threads...lineup couldn't come through with the hits yesterday like they did today....hopefully holcomb is batting 2nd and geer 5th tomorrow

I think you and I both have wanting weimer all year to get a chance. I would hope today proved to ralph that she is worthy for the next game and tourney. she hit two shots and one caught by 3rd baseman. I will give up the steals if that happens for a chance to have a hit or two. Bearden needs to play. she can hit and throw. slow runner but what the heck.

No I can see Auburn sweeping them and getting second place if we win tomorrow or third if we lose.

Through probably the hardest schedule in the nation last 10 games we are 6 and 4. I guess they have to be fair to teams that don't play in the SEC but I doubt many of them could have done that.

Yep, this is our path. It's entirely possible, if not probable. Harrington is a good pitcher, and Arnold will have to bring her A game tomorrow. Moss may have to pitch, too. Lot of Vol fans @ aTm today and hopefully, they'll be back tomorrow for such a high stakes finish to the season.

Unfortunately Arnold does not pitch well under pressure....part of that is being a freshman and inexperience but she needs to work on keeping her cool when things start to unravel.The offense needs to get her an early lead and she will probably be okay tomorrow.
