Something about Friday we can't do anything with the bats. Seggern and Vines should have killed those pitches.

Good grief: two on with with one and then we Seggern and Vines strike out. I give the ole miss pitcher credit for making good pitches--she is spotting her pitches well when she needs to. Can't pass up scoring chances.

She is throwing several off speed pitches as well someone needs to time one of those 45 mile an hour pitches and send it out of the park.

The bottom of our batting order is pathetic. It want be long before they will all be batting below .250

Have to thank Ole Miss for that run was an easy force. Also their pitcher did most of the damage getting herself in trouble finally Vines a solid hit to cash in on their mistakes.

Wow Roland finally hits one out. Maybe she is starting to settle in.
7 to 0 looks much better. The big inning finally happened.

Rowland hits a bomb over the center field wall and we run rule Ole Miss. Rowland has the potential to be a good/very good hitter with power, it would seem. Has a nice swing, isn't over-anxious. Great to see some extra-base hits tonight, and great to win the first game for a change. We needed this victory, badly.

Always good to start a series with a win....once the LVs got the pitch they wanted they drove it....love the new spot where vines is in the lineup she can either hit away or slap the defense has no idea which she will do

Vines can hit swinging away and adds something to lower part of the lineup. She and Rowland had the big hits today.

I had to watch the replay. Nice win and hopefully the first of three. In a perverse way I wish TN wouldn't run-rule anybody. This team needs as many reps as possible.

Yeah I had a feeling Ralph was going to move her or Leach down. I was inclined myself to move Leach down as she has a higher slugging and on-base percentage and swings a heavier bat.

Karen said in the post-game interview that she was really pleased with how Moss pitched. She's the pitching coach not me but I'd like to see less balls and less walks. She didn't overthrow as much tonight and only gave up the two hits. Let's see what Arnold can do tomorrow.
