What does everyone think about tonight? My brain tells me we don't have much of a chance but my heart tells me we are on a run. Surely Ashley cannot go out there and do it again tonight against a top 3 team can she?

In the 2 games Rogers pitched against Alabama earlier in the year she only gave up 4 earned runs, but our offense only got us 4 runs in those 2 games. Home field for Alabama will be tough. Need to pitch around Hemphill and our offense needs to get us 3 runs and I think we can win.

My brain tells me the staff wanted to see if Rogers can go back to back games if needed for a super regional...probably will see Turner tonight with regionals starting next Thursday/Friday.......it will be the most time off Rogers has had in a while which is good

Do you want them to get an extension? A better question would be why the Weekleys only have 1 pitcher capable of beating good teams. They can’t roll out Ashley every game for the rest of the SEC and National tournaments. That girl is full of grit but she can’t carry the whole team for the rest of the year.

would have preferred Kentucky just because of the home crowd ---- In March, Turner/Bender were "supported" by 4 errors in a 7-1 loss to Kilfoyl, while Fouts v Rogers was 1-1 --- I'm okay with Turner giving it a shot, but the bats must get working -- swing!!, ladies ---- can always bring Rogers from the pen to close it out

It will be us against the world with that Bama crowd and I don't trust Sec umps to begin with. Ashley or no we have to generate some offense to win. I doubt Bama will throw Fouts. Maybe everyone will decide to go up with good approaches and swing at balls in the zone. You never really know what is going to happen in a game.

It's going to be rowdy rhoades house tonight....I would start Callie just to get her in an environment like this....Tennessee has nothing to lose in the game
