I swear that infield is a terror. Too many bad bounces.
They ought to do something about the batter out of the batter's box. Call it or not, something needs to be changed.
I have noticed that the World Series grounds crew does not overly soak the infield before the game so the infield is undoubtedly hard and prone to bad hops. Notice that the players who slide are not completely covered with dirt on their pants. Conversely, the Tennessee Lady Vols grounds crew puts way too much water on the field pre-game and the infield is basically a mud-bath until it sometimes dries out way into the game.FSU's shortstop made at least three errors today (including on back-to-back batters) but was only charged with one for whatever reason. I'm not sure if it's the field or just that she's a bad shortstop since she only has a .922 fielding % on the season.
personally, I think JMU needs UCLA to win tonight for JMU to have a chance to get to the finals --- Oklahoma has 3 viable starting pitchers, JMU has Odicci and a relatively untested frosh
