My goodness haven’t seen UCLA in a while Farmino? is intimidating. She looks like Monica except she weighs about 100 pounds more. Unless something crazy happens it will be them and Oklahoma again.

4-6 weeks out for Amanda. So we could have her back for the postseason-- maybe even Mizzou series, if she's healing well.

Oklahoma's offense is spectacular but it should be noted it's been cupcake central all season long until they recently played Texas and then UGA. They have a freshman who has 20 HR and 60 RBI already but when you look at their schedule it makes more sense. Granted, they're still the favorite to win the NC, but some people are saying it's the best team of all time, and it's not even OU's best team of all time: they're not as good as their 2013 team IMO. Not to mention, that 2013 team also had two aces in Ricketts and Gasgoigne.

our best hitters are hurt.

Ayala is hurt, but she isn't our best hitter. Morgan and Milloy would definitely be ahead of Ayala in terms of overall hitting ability, and Morgan has definitely been the best hitter this season, and most definitely in conference play, where she's hitting .442. Ayala is definitely among the best, though. West isn't even close to being the best hitter on the team. But we are certainly a better team with them in the lineup. West needs to be put as DP when she comes back and she needs to stay there. No more of this Parsons at DP crap.

Would be nice to see Seggern step up, along with Milloy and Davis, especially in the absence of Ayala. Ivy has three HR in SEC play but her average is only .188. Parsons is hitting freaking 2 for 25 (.080) in SEC play. IDK why she's getting playing time in anything other than midweek games at this point. She can't hit and she's not a good fielder, either.

Honestly, I hate to say it, but this loss falls at the feet of Ashley Rogers today. She gave up 8 earned runs today and her ERA jumped up by about 30% just after today's game. Granted, she's carried the team on her back so many other games, but with how important she is, we can't afford performances like this from her. Had this come against an actual good team, not a borderline mediocre one like UGA, we easily could've given up 15-20 runs today.

That 2013 was one of the best if not the best collage softball team of course we had to play them. Their "slap" hitters could pound the walls. Oklahoma's schedule has not been great but you would not want to play them in the tournament in their backyard. Washington to their credit was playing with UCLA. UCLA is no slouch hitting the ball either.

Destinee Martinez was out at 3rd base!!!! That game still brings up bad memories

Ayala hits pretty dang good but Morgan has carried us the last few weeks. Ally has done a lot of damage and Seggern is hitting (had a bad day in the field). Kiki just had a bad weekend hopefully she flushes that and moves on. Ivy is not the most consistent but she can do a lot of damage in a hurry. West has hit from fall on she is still developing watch the power numbers jump next year. "She can't hit and she's not a good fielder, either." pretty much sums that one up.
Ashley was off most of day. Got in her groove for about 3 innings. They kept calling that curve which is almost flat pitch and Georgia decided that was what they could hit and did a few times. Bad pitch selection on our part. The big two run homer was a rise above her hands inside that she somehow hit. "Kudos" to her the game should have been over by then.
We didn't get it done but we didn't fold either. There is fight and spark on this team that a number of our teams in recent years have been lacking.

Average wise, Ayala is better. Only thing Milloy is better at is homers which is 12 milloy - 8 Amanda. West is also a subpar hitter with a very good average. Those two are part of our top five hitter for sure.

Ah good and bad memories was watching that championship with my middle school daughter with a stuffed cat on my head for good luck. Worked real well up to Madison's home run not so well after. Good but sad memory all in one.

Morgan has been our best hitter average-wise for most of the season. And Ayala was only hitting .286 in conference play when she got injured.

I do believe that Ayala is the best candidate for a leadoff hitter, which I think is where she is missed the most.

Not aimed at you Brian; your work much appreciated.
However, if Danny White wants to endear himself to the Lady Vols brand, fans & players, he better get off his butt and make sure the SEC Network understands what they are dealing with.
The NCAA just screwed up in the basketball weight room fiasco; apparently, the SEC hasn't learned from it.
Somewhere, that idiot Dave Hart is laughing.

I'm not sure what you mean here. When a game is supposed to be on TV, then is bumped because it's rain delayed, the options are limited. ESPN can't just set aside whatever they had scheduled for later to go back to the rain delayed game. So then it's up to the school to do the best they can.

UT only has one primary control room where they can produce a full broadcast. So when the game was rescheduled to the same time as the O&W game, the options for presenting the broadcast were limited because the primary control room had to be used to produce portions of the O&W game for the SEC+ feed for it. So the only option is what's called a "passthrough," which is a one or two camera production with the radio call on it. I can't speak to the camera angle because I don't have a monitor, but I understand there were issues with the high home camera. I'm not in communication with the camera person, so I couldn't pass that along.
