3 is built for tournament play, one Ace is a bad day away from taking it home early. As we saw yesterday, Ashley got in a jam early and Turner didn't plug up the damage and no other options on the bench. Ashley came back in and looked great but not sure our offense if built to make comebacks like we did yesterday.Give me the team with the pitching in the postseason.

Depends on how far back from being an ‘Ace’ the other pitchers are. One Ace can get a team thru as long as the offense can put enough runs across to give your pitching staff without the Ace a fighting chance.
I'm not sure what you mean here. When a game is supposed to be on TV, then is bumped because it's rain delayed, the options are limited. ESPN can't just set aside whatever they had scheduled for later to go back to the rain delayed game. So then it's up to the school to do the best they can.
UT only has one primary control room where they can produce a full broadcast. So when the game was rescheduled to the same time as the O&W game, the options for presenting the broadcast were limited because the primary control room had to be used to produce portions of the O&W game for the SEC+ feed for it. So the only option is what's called a "passthrough," which is a one or two camera production with the radio call on it. I can't speak to the camera angle because I don't have a monitor, but I understand there were issues with the high home camera. I'm not in communication with the camera person, so I couldn't pass that along.
Karlyn Pickens named High School player of the week by Extra Inning Softball. Good article.

Hosfield set the national record for strikeouts in a year with 659 in 257 innings. That would be more than 80% for that season. That season she had 7 no hitters, 3 perfect games,17 one hitters and 31 complete game shutouts.0.12 ERA and she has struck out 72% of the batters she's faced. Have we ever had an incoming pitcher with these kind of numbers since Monica?

Most playing Power 5 should have those K numbers, 2.3+ per inning. Her ERA is a outstanding even for HS ball.
She has struck out 148 of 195 batters, which is 76%, not 72%. That’s in 58 innings which is 2.55 Ks/inning.
Rachel Garcia averaged 2.38 Ks per inning her senior year of HS ... and she was the NPOY both in HS and college. I believe Kelly Barnhill and Montana Fouts, who also earned HSNPOY awards of some kind, had similar numbers. Only the most elite HS pitchers would have those K numbers, so your comment has me perplexed.
For reference, both Renfroe sisters averaged just barely over 2 Ks per inning their senior years at Trinity Christian, with Ellen being the state HSPOY her senior year.
Hopefully that gets taken care of in the coming years with better in state recruiting overall, it seems to be trending that way.Believe we are saying the same thing, most Power 5 pitchers will come in or have similar numbers. HS hitters will have only a few that can hit these types of kids. Not counting the cupcakes games that get loaded up on stats. Pulled the numbers of a 2022 TN kid and 157K/201 outs 78%, she’s committed elsewhere.
