What are theLady Vols chances now that Baylor has been beaten? The Lady Cards are "awesome" in beating the Lady Baylor Bears! We've got to cheer for he Lady Bulldogs to beat Stanford.:salute:

There went my Ladies bracket with the Lady Cardinals pulling off the biggest upset in WNCAA basketball. Congrats to the Lady Cardinals!:good!: I had Baylor winning it all! Now it's wide open in tne West bracket.

Good luck to the Lady Vols!:salute:

Louisville is going to be tough. Baylor got beat because they were out-coached. It's going to fun to watch Vols and Louisville.

If their heads are in the right place - if they are ready to put their foot down on someone's neck and keep it there, I think Tennessee's chances are good. Baylor going out, and Stanford bowing out as well, creates as much of an opportunity for UT as anything could; #1's have seemed impervious these past few years ... I just hope they step up and take it from the other three teams left on this side of the bracket.

Georgia already beat Stanford. It's GA vs. CAL in the other regional final

That's "awesome" the Lady Bulldogs beating #1 seed Stanford. Two #1 seeds fall in the WNCAA this weekend Lady Vols now stand a chance of going to the Championship game!:dance2: That would be AWESOME!:salute:

I am hoping this game took everything out of Louisville emotionally and lifted us up. We are the higher seed we have to hope they can't make a three and we will win.

Same here. Near the end Baylor woke up and made a game of it.

Baylor wasnt outcoached... How can anyone predict almost 70% from the 3 and Griner basically mailing it in. It was a good gameplan, one thats been tried often and finally worked.

Yeah, I was about to ask, did Griner play that sluggishly the entire game? She was barely moving in the last 2 minutes. Slow on help defense.

This game proves how teams can beat better teams because of the three point shot. If no three point shot 16 points less for Louisville even with the same field goals and Baylor wins. I know we won a lot of games when we had Lofton and Jujuan because they used to smoke the other team with the three ball.

I've seen Griner play a lot better I think Louisville laying three players on her got her frustrated and her defense in this game was awful.

I imagine. Any time you can take a player out of the game, you have to get frustrated.

We have got to be on our game & not let up. Playing Louisville will give us some hope to win but it's not going to be easy if Speedy doesn't score this time around. Nearing the end of Baylor & Louisville, I was thinking that the refs were trying to let Baylor come back with some of those calls that were being made. We also can't count out UConn or ND on losing before the dance.

UL deserved the game. Baylor would not have come back that close if UL's HC had called TO a couple of times from the 8 to 4 minute mark. UL got sloppy with their ball handling and Sims got in their heads. Griner was not much of a factor. Especially liked that she was the one that committed the foul that cost the game.

The path to the Final Four is clear. We match up better with UL than Baylor and they will be a little tired from all the effort against Baylor. They were on fire from outside the whole game. Hopefully that won't continue.

Simmons needs to get her act together though. She was a liability today.

Totally agree. Simmons needs to wake up and although we won handily today we left a ton of points on the court with missed layups. Missed layups piss me off like nothing else.. ok Im done

Louisville had the much better defensive game plan. They limited Grinders ability to move the basket and also to pass. Look at how TN limited OK, a very good 3 ball team. Either Baylor was flat (don't think so) or they got outplayed (coaching) because at least on paper they certainly don't have talent equal to Baylor.

Considering how good TN is defensively I like our chances against Louisville but we better protect the ball and get back quickly on defense. I heard on the broadcast that Louisville does not have a player over 6'2". With two bigs we should avoid the triple team and our inside game should be successful.

Id like to see more Izzy and Bashara but Im afraid L'ville would run us into the dirt.

I honestly didn't think we would be in this spot after the UTC loss. It's there for the taking.
