Honestly it sucks that he fell so far.

However, it may be the grace of God. The situation he is walking into may favor him very well. J.J. Redick certainly understands how to use a tall 3 point shooter. He has made it known he wants to shoot more 3's.

I would have liked to seen DK on the Spurs or Thunder, but instead he goes to my favorite team and actually has a shot (with the right front office moves) at winning a championship.

Thrilled for him.

Incredibly pissed that the Sixers passed on him, I would've gone to a couple of NBA games next season for the first time in about 30 years.

One good thing is landing with JJ Redick as a coach, who knows a thing or two about how to maximize a shooter.

Best of luck, DK!

Yeah they kinda took a dump on DK. Hope he shows out.
Yeah, but it’s not a bad situation like Portland or Charlotte would have been. I never thought it was a sure thing he’d go top 15, much less 10. I said that in here as early as February. Too much happens up until draft day. Other than the top few picks, so much is fluid.

As he kept falling, I at least thought, "well he will land on a team that has a good chance at winning." I was cringing thinking about him going to Houston or Charlotte.
