Lane Kiffin

Pirate ain't doing so hot. And Kiffin is about to lose and have a 1-2 record. He put up points against Alabama. BFD. Doesn't amount to any things but an "L" in the end. Or do moral victories only count for coaches of other teams? Because I know dang well you wouldn't accept a high scoring loss as a moral victory if it were Pruitt.
Coaches go into trash universities and immediately move the ball. Meanwhile, Pruitt cannot find a qb 3 years in. I'd take my chances with offense.

And beat UK on a missed PAT.

At FAU he inherited a bad team and he did...I live down the road from FAU and they were horrible and he turned them around and won the conference his FIRST YEAR THERE...He won 2 titles while at FAU...So where is this failure you are speaking of?
If he inherited such a bad team then why did he go 11-3 that first year? You’ll say because he’s a great coach right? Then why 5-7 the next year? He’s not a bad coach. He just isn’t a great one.

Lane is an elite offensive schemer as well as quarterback developer. I have been a fan since the Leinart/Bush days. I have stood by that through all of his ups and downs. I truly believe he will have three or four good years at Oxford and plateau that into a top notch job that can compete for national titles.

And this is his 1st year with players he didnt recruit, wait till he start getting his guys in.
Amazing how some coaches can do that...

Ole Miss wasnt exactly competing last season (4- 8 and 2-6 in the SEC) and yet a decent coach had them playing an entire game the #2 team in the nation. Wish we had that kind of coach.

They went 3-9 the year before he got there...You figure it out...the 5-7 year he had alot of people graduate from the season before...Really doesn't take a genius to figure it out...My god

You’re the “genius” claiming a coach is some second coming with the exact same .667ish record everywhere he’s been. How do you excuse away that season at USC where they started ranked first in the country, weren’t on probation anymore, and finished unranked. The man got fired at an airport mid season. That doesn’t happen to great coaches. It’s also hilarious you’re referencing time at FAU as evidence of anything. Sunbelt football? Come on man. You have zero proof he is a great head coach and the man has coached several seasons. Even crazy Al Davis knew it.
