One of the great radio calls of all time . . .

Agreed. Like I said... I'm not really into the homerism he displayed but that was a top 5 all time, all sport call! Especially when he falls out of the chair and goes on to describe the chair itself! It'll be interesting to hear what Belue has to say tomorrow on 680.... Hopefully that nimrod Kincaide will shut up long enough for Buck to say his piece....

Hate to hear that. Condolences to his family.

He had his moments. The few times I was forced to listen to him while calling a UT game it was awful. He would go 10 mins and never give the score nor time remaining in the game. And when a big play happened you couldn't make out what happened for several minuets.

Thoughts are with his family none the less.

Really.... Now isn't the time for junk like that. I would hope John Ward gets some respect from opponent fanbases (even if they didn't care for Ward's style...) when his time comes. Condolences to Dawg Nation from this Vol....

Thanks. If you're a Dawg fan, Munson is like one of your family. Ward is the same for Vol fans. We SEC fans like to believe that we hate each other. But we're all cut from the same cloth.

As a Dawg fan, this one really hurts.
