I've always wondered this, does the committee really cut it right at 50?

It sounds petty to say, well Missouri is 51 so they don't count as a quality win but a team at 49 is, you know what I'm saying? Same for a bad loss; 101 is a bad loss, but 99 isn't?

I have a feeling they aren't that cut and dry, but just a guess.

Agree. Good point.

I would bet the last 8 AQs are still not better than the last 4 AL teams ---- needs fixed

On Gameday a week or two ago, Jay Bilas said they should just take the top 68 teams in the rankings and eliminate the automatic qualifiers. Some asked about the smaller schools, and his point was that there are smaller schools in the top 68. Teams like ND State and Harvard would still get in.

VA wins. Got to look good on our resume'

I can't see the committee keeping a team out of the tournament (or in a play-in game) that has beaten a 1 seed (UVA), taken another 1 seed (FLA) to the wire twice, and has a pretty good resume/RPI.

When it comes down to it. The Matrix as a whole is better than any 1 individual predictor. They have us in as an 11 and not in the play-in.
