Yes it’s a huge problem. We are having to tell them we will notify the unemployment office if they don’t return. Currently the only exceptions are those with childcare issues, compromised health, or caring for elderly family.

Adding $600 on top of the $275 normal unemployment was a terrible idea. Sounds like part of the Pelosi BS. Who needs to go to work making $875 a week?

You need to re-watch the news conference where Trump intimated that disinfectant might be injected into the body to destroy COVID. He said it.
Trump's been clueless and careless about COVID since Day 1. This was a man who said that he had stopped the virus back in February. A president who campaigned for a miracle cure in old medicines, which turned out to be ineffective and indeed harmful in some patients. He walks into his daily press conferences unprepared and uninterested and says whatever the F comes into his mind. No one really believes Trump handled this crisis with any skill or aptitude.

Yesterday, the George W. Bush Presidential Center released a video that is so complete tone deaf and nonsensical that you almost have to double check to make sure it’s not a parody. Surely, this is some liberal group putting out a video make the former President look ridiculous, but nope, it’s real.

In the video, we see Bush’s mouthpiece stumping for more immigration in the middle of a pandemic, criticizing Trump’s closing of the borders to help stop the spread of the disease.

Honestly, this is just incredible.

I don't know what thread to post this in, but do any of you all get tired? I mean, most times I'm cool with arguing a point. But is seems like we just go around each other based on our political leanings. In every thread. Over. And over. And over again.

Like NurseGV....I havent missed an hour of work. 6 days a week...business as usual. I am the only caretaker of a 73yo family member with emphysema and COPD...so I have been careful about trying not to get the virus when at the gas station or grocery etx..I have never worn a mask, but I have a couple in the truck.

Biggest panic in my lifetime for sure...and i knew it would be. We were waaaay ahead of this here on VN...posting about what was coming in January. Shameful MSM... also the money wasted and damage to economy
