I stopped frequenting several local businesses during the CV nuttiness, and I always politely explained why I would not be returning.

We stopped by IHOP for lunch, they're under covid protocol for dining, minus the masks. Only so many allowed to eat in the dining area, but making people wait elbow to elbow up front. When you finally get a table, they have everyone compacted together, using about 12 tables in the middle. You also can't go in the bathroom with someone else in there. This is gonna get stupid again, isn't it?

I'm guessing like someone said, probably was an owner thing. The one closer to us isn't doung that, and hadn't heard anything about the other restaurants in that areas doing it.
