I would be willing to bet there are more people that contract the virus from touching their face while adjusting their mask than Trump supporters(Not including nose pickers) that have contempt for science.

Also, the government never said that wearing a mask has now been proven to help. They simply gave in to satisfy the Karens.

A lot of people have worked hard to make it that way. I understand congress doing their job but the courts have gone off the deep end. Every issue is forum shopped and then you have partisan district and circuit judges making orders to apply nationwide. The judicial branch is broken.

You're making your case on the unproveable. We do it by protecting the vulnerable and letting the rest of us get the economy moving. The numbers are proving this heavy handed govt approach has set us back years and didn't save many lives. It will actually end up costing more lives

What about the numerous studies, and the real reason why people were advised not to wear them in the first place, that show you are more likely to get sick if you wear them? The vast majority don’t wear them correctly and stop practicing more important hygiene practices because of them.

The first part of his post answers your question . “ Global embarrassment “ . Trumps presidency has set the whole “we are the world movement back” . Fortunately for us he’s given most people the chance to question exactly why we want to be more like the Euro elite instead of just being Americans . I for one appreciate the pause and the opportunity to stop sniffing the farts of all the wonderful European countries and breath fresh air for a while . The first thing a dem POTUS will do is firmly reattach our heads up their butts again .

Let's see, science said there was "no reason to wear a mask" then "everyone should wear a mask" what will it be in two weeks?

About to submit a paper to IEEE later this week. Considering putting a notice at the top:

"If you criticize this paper you are denying science".

Should really fast track the review process. Got to hand it to the left on this one. Should be much more effective than my normal opening line "If you criticize this paper your mom's a hoe."

I couldn't possibly imagine a political motive for someone I don't know wearing or not wearing a mask, but it is disturbing that many can. A person who survived Covid already wouldn't need extra protection. On the other hand, a person who is immuno-compromised might get pretty agitated if they have to go to the store. A little empathy and understanding in these times goes a long way.

The major divide that has become apparent to me is between partisans and non-partisans. I think the only difference between the left and right at this point is which conspiracies they believe in and which rights they want to take away from you.

If anyone believed the left was more conversant with math and science than the right, the current situation should have relieved them of that misconception. Partisan thinking is narrow thinking. Sides don't matter.
