I’m an absolute authority on how to not breath Sheetrock dust and other construction debris. And the average mask worn correctly works. Hell the average T-shirt works. Now anyone can fake a picture to make a point. Just don’t be surprised when the constitution guys call BS on it

Some friends of mine retreated to their house near Ameilia Island. The report back (with video) was that there is an alternate reality down there versus Maryland.

People enjoying lunch and drinks indoors. Sharing tables, no masks, good times for all. I’m jealous.

we may head down your way soon...a permanent relocation.

I've had to tie many cloth materials or masks over my face sanding back in the day. You always had dust in your nose. I've had to wear a full face respirator while cup gun spraying with the correct filters on. Still had paint around and in my nose.

One thing that is grinding my gears is these people in full masks and gloves but they will run right up on you as you’re trying to pick something out at a store. Like if they don’t put some canned beans in their cart right this instant the terrorists shoot the hostages. They can’t wait 12 seconds for you to pick. And it is ALWAYS the boomers doing it. Apparently they think this is a serious threat but they also think their DIY biohazard suit makes them invincible. Playing human Frogger is already aggravating enough without these idiots in the mix.

My point is that the inconvenience for a given person to wear a mask is infinitesimally tiny compared to the effect that it can have as a group effort. The infections and deaths stopped is huge relative to the nothing annoyance of wearing a mask.

And those that refuse to wear one to "make a statement"? Hard to put into words just how valueless their souls are and what horrible human beings they are.

I see the burden to wear the PPE on the person who is worried about getting the virus.

Personally, my choice not to wear a mask isn’t to make a statement. The virus isn’t near as bad as initially projected.

While you are thinking how worthless my soul is and what a horrible human being I am, think about this: where have you been the last several flu seasons? Why were you not masking up? Is there some defined cut off where you are concerned with spreading a virus?

I’m going to need a number...where is your cut off?

Did you just start grocery shopping when coronavirus hit? Grocery store idiocy has been around for ages and knows no age, race, gender, or political affiliation. You may just be noticing it now, because the masks draw more attention. Of course, if you're the guy blocking the whole aisle while blankly staring at the baked beans for 5 minutes you may deserve it (not saying you are).

Here’s a better written article on the subject. Basically, the early models were trash. There was already 25-35% of the population with natural immunity. Based on antibody tests, the actual death rate is similar to the annual flu.

Don't get me near me then. I refuse to wear one of these worthless masks and become an Asian to shop in my neighborhood.

Next time you or a loved one has surgery, be sure to regail the physician with your sheetrock/painting story and tell him not to bother wearing a mask since it doesn't work.
