Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

The effectiveness of medical masks isnt confined to the mask itself. My understanding is that health care professionals change their maks and gloves with each patient and also wash or sanitize their hands in between.

I am willing to bet not even medical professionals are actually following that strict a procedure out in the real world. Of temporary masks that get disposed of, then disposal of gloves, then hand washing, then gloves, then mask again.

The efficacy of masks as they are being used hasnt been tested, and at least NGV, and Kiddiedoc, as well as others, have stated that current practices are probably not helping.
We get 1 N95 and one medical mask per shift, they are not following proper isolation procedures either. This whole thing has been a fiasco. I wonder if gov northam knows all this?So when I hear my fair governor speak about wearing masks in public I laugh. He's a doctor.
For the last 3 weeks we have had no more than 3 positives on the unit. If you call in sick they are requiring you to come in and be checked for symptoms. Let that sink in for a min. You might have corona but you have to come INTO the hospital so they can check you. Whereas when they presumed me positive they didn't want me at the facility nor would they test me. Makes total sense.

IMO masking with regular medical masks does nothing but protect others from close contact coughing and sneezing. Washing hands is also a must. 99% of transmissions would end if people would wash and stay home when they are sick.

Everyone knows CNN does not care about Ratings.

It may not seem like much and the cost per subscriber is probably debatable, but provide a la carte cable and CNN's yearly revenue would probably drop $100 million year. Unfortunately they are locked in with providers and only legislation or massive grass movement would allow this weapon to be utilized. We are long past due consumer legislation IMO.

Reactions: Franklin Pierce
He was unconscionable during that whole episode. Talking about how “the beast comes at night” and giving his nightly vitals with O2 levels and temperatures. Sigh...the drama.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, but I doubt he had any serious symptoms because if he did he would have been admitted.
glad i skipped the fredo files completely.

Supreme Court denies Illinois churches' request for action after state eases restrictions

The Supreme Court denied Illinois churches’ request to remove Illinois’s coronavirus restrictions after Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) lifted the measures voluntarily.

The decision comes a day after Pritzker declared that his state’s coronavirus restrictions were not mandatory for churches and other houses of worship. The decision effectively made the suit from Elim Romanian Pentecostal Church and Logos Baptist Ministries moot.

Justice Brett Kavanaugh said he would leave the door open to hearing the suit if circumstances changed in the state.

you left out how he left quarantine (without a mask btw) to travel to his home under construction and got mad at someone who called him out. He also took some home brew quinine that his wife's "Energy Dr." whipped up but railed against the danger of hydroxychloroquine.

It was a complete fantasy.
