Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Spread it to who? Other people in their same demographic group which is at very low risk of getting anything other than a runny nose. If older, high risk people are frequenting bars where young people are they’re doing it knowing the risks.

FFS, let people live their lives and assume the risks living entails. If you’re scared, stay home, keep your doors locked, and bathe in Purell every couple of hours.
I'm not scared. I'm just stating facts. What stupid f'ing comment

The point still remains - at some point personal responsibility for one’s safety needs to take hold. If one is at risk, it’s on them for running into somebody not wearing a mask, not the other way around and there should be no ridiculing and shaming for not wearing a mask.

Personally, I out a mask on when I go out, it’s no skin off my back. But if I were in the older at risk group, my happy *** would be at home watching Netflix while telecommuting and ordering groceries online.

So in May, CDC was saying 3,000 deaths and 200,000 new cases per day for June. They hit their mark?

They were not actually saying that. A model made it into a presentation - still not clear to me why that model made it in. I remember saying it looked very suspicious the day that came out and to hold off running with it. I think it was a scenario produced by JHU for planning purposes.

You're right a JHU professor made it and it was shown to the CDC.

Not in GA, DA.
You're still a hypocrite and a liar
Muh buzz cut. Muh secret dye job. Muh pedicure.

I went to dinner with some friends at a nice restaurant on Sat night. We purposefully made a late reservation to avoid crowds because everyone in my area eats between 5-7. The bartender I spoke to said two of her counterparts had already quit (after one day back) because of people coughing on them or getting too close to them while they were trying to serve food. The manager came by our table to check on us. We asked him how things were going. He said they had to stop people from coming in because they admitted they were running fever or were coughing badly. He admitted that it wasn't likely the customers had COVID but he didn't want to make his staff or other customers uncomfortable. People want restaurants and other service retail places to reopen but some don't have a lot of regard for the people who are serving them.
My self-awareness is fine. Restaurants were reopened in my county on 5/1, I went out symptom free and observed proper social distancing rules. I was supporting a local small business.
Our bartender and waitress stayed as far away from us as possible while wearing gloves and masks. It is not hypocritical that I pointed out some on here were busting a gut to reopen everything but employees of these places were impacted.
Yes, because restaurants in my county reopened on 5/1. Nothing hypocritical about going to an open restaurant.

Some on here worship JHU, unless they come out and say covid is no longer a threat

Pence and McConnell both say to wear them. So do all the task force members.

Only one man is on an island on this, pretending its okay to go without.

Also does it really matter at this point? Pretty sure the Republicans are ready to pull him out of the race anyway, just not sure who they have on deck.

You are right in the sense that he has acted like a child over the last 3 months
