How do you plan to safely get there without a vaccine? And I use the term safely very loosely
I agree with everything you are saying except that it’s working from a herd immunity standpoint. You need 70% of the population at minimum to have immunity. That’s going to take a vaccine. Unless we plan on doing this for 3-5 more years. And even then, I am asking here because I don’t know, but if I had it three years ago that’s not going to help hers immunity x number of years from now. Plus Sweden, who is the most open and been shooting for it, were shocked to see how far off they were. They guessed they were at 50% and it came back at 8% I think.Just keep doing what we are doing , it’s working . The hospitalizations are and have dropped significantly and so has the deaths . The riots / protestors exposed the media and political driven panic from the virus that caused the country to shut down . We have stats from other countries saying their s hooks are open and no spikes and they are open back up .
Dr. Anthony Fauci says new virus in China has traits of 2009 swine flu and 1918 pandemic flu may happen either way thenRooting for complete economic collapse and the death of millions of Americans. Interesting strategy.
That's what's great about our country. You get a vote. Lets be clear though. It's not an either/or situation. It's not Trump or a Mother Theresa type
BTW, I am very much aware of the kind of world in which we live. I've literally lived all over it
While touting preliminary success in developing treatments for COVID-19, Dr. Anthony Fauci said Tuesday there was “no guarantee” that a vaccine to prevent the coronavirus would be ready by early 2021.
“There is no guarantee — and anyone who has been involved in vaccinations will tell you — we’ll have a safe and effective vaccine, but we are cautiously optimistic, looking at animal data and the preliminary data, that we will at least know the extent of the efficacy sometime in the winter and early part of next year,” Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.
Fauci also said scientists were “aspirationally hopeful” there could be doses available to the public by next year.
What does that even mean?
Doesn't sound encouraging.
Hospitalizations and deaths are going up. Do you mean rates?Just keep doing what we are doing , it’s working . The hospitalizations are and have dropped significantly and so has the deaths . The riots / protestors exposed the media and political driven panic from the virus that caused the country to shut down . We have stats from other countries saying their s hooks are open and no spikes and they are open back up .
