If I was worth that much , my thinking would probably more along the lines of that then it is now . Again ( to me ) that much money allows you to do certain things most can’t . Knowing I was entitled to a small business bailout and actually taking it defines the person . ( IMO ) $600 million affords you a lot of room to play .

Doubtful , I’m more of a “we are so blessed to have what we have that we can afford to eat this one and still keep my employees” , kinda guy. Especially considering I could at anytime sell my (signature which is free to me ) , or a few photo ops ( costs only my time ) and come out with more money than I got from the small business admin . (IMO )

Which is consistent with what Family members and friends who are ER and family practice physicians and mid-levels (8 total, not counting random internet doctor, above) have all told me. It’s also consistent with the inflated deathositive test ratio cited earlier, and the CDC explanation for why they extrapolate influenza numbers.

I guess in the hospital we are focus goal directed treatment. The physicians have to justify putting you in the hospital for the flu, thus they test. It's a coding requirement. If you aren't in trouble, say respiratory wise, they may give you the antivirals without testing and send you on your way. It is much the same way a doctor's office would give meds and treat you for symptoms. I agree with this and this was SOP before covid19.
Noted in April they stopped running respiratory viral panels on suspected covid19 pts. We were stricky isolating and treating them empirically, It saved on testing and they were being treated. No flu testing beyond April, which is by most standards, considered the end of flu season.

Cracks me up when people think that politics isn't the PRIMARY reason for the hysteria about a "pandemic" that's a toothless tiger if you look at the numbers objectively.

PS- I'm not blaming one side or the other. Both have tried to play "gotcha" with it. However there was a Dem mayor recently who literally claimed the the increase in violence in her city was due to Trump's Covid response. And you don't think that's a hoax or political?

This should not be a political issue. Kids need to be in school. It’s the underprivileged kids that will suffer most from this.

Makes sense. I would think pretty much everybody going to ICU for the flu would have been tested pursuant to the various caveats.

Documented) and the Dems are the ones that want to keep the Country shut down. The Dems are also the ones who rejected ANY type of effective treatment; instead opting for No Treatment or the Next NEW DRUG that the CDC ; (AKA BIG Pharma) rolls out. I largely avoid all TV "news". They get viewers by moving them emotionally... not by being good reporters of the truth. I would rather have something I can read without trying to filter out the emotion.

I haven't watched FNC much at all since Hannity and several others went in the tank for Trump during the '16 election. I will watch Newsmax or OAN occasionally. But honestly I have a very low tolerance with being spoon fed with what I'm supposed to believe... even by people I largely agree with.
