Raw number of cases is a terrible measure to use in comparing cross countries. Testing and counting standards are very different. It’s kind of sick how some people are cheerleading this

None of it is good. I just drove down the street in Norfolk where you can find anything. I'm astounded at the dealerships and smaller businesses that are caput. Closed for good.
People have died. This sucks. I would have to highly question someone humanity who's cheering any of this.

So we went to a local marina for dinner last night and was sitting at the bar. A family came in with 2 kids somewhere around 10-13 years old wearing masks, sat down at the bar and proceeded to take their masks off. Within a minute the dad was bitching at another guy for smoking and how it was bothering his kids. After he was not so politely told to piss off he was at an outdoor bar he proceeds to start bitching at the bartender about the restaurant not requiring people to wear masks coming in.

I don’t smoke and there was only 1 person smoking when all of this started but most of the people around the bar had lighted up while this was going on.

I think Trump is a narcissistic prick, but the "anything to get rid of Trump" crowd is bat **** crazy. We had a thriving economy and record unemployment, then this pandemic hits and destroys all of that and there are people who seem fine with it because it hurts Trump's chances of reelection. WTF? I honestly do not understand people like that. It's ridiculous.

FTR, I said all along the way to get rid of Trump was to run a better candidate, but they screwed that up so they needed something catastrophic like this to happen. It's sad how happy this has made some.

I guess it's admirable on some level that the two of us keep willingly going through this same routine. I'll take it as a sign that there is still hope.
The bolded is where you continue to miss the point. The Hillary haters do not hate Hillary for the same reasons the Trump haters hate Trump. The hate may be the same but the opinions/reasons used to support that hate are not the same.
There is a reason I keep using this example: People hated integration just as people hated segregation. The hatreds may have even been "equal" but the rationales supporting those hatreds were anything but equal.......and that was really the difference that mattered.

Unless an establishment posts that it is 18 and up only, it is against the law to smoke at a restaurant. The man had a point about the smoklng.

Hillary: she is part of the Washington establishment, part of the deep state, ruling class elitist, and a murdering liar.

Trump: a racist, sexist, xenophobe, seeking to divide along those lines and who is also a crass, immature, and petty habitual liar concerned with nothing beyond self enrichment.
