Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Trump says the disease is fine 99 % of the time. It will go away. Not a big deal. Fake.

Would be wrong to go to the funeral of a person who died of it.

It is fine 99% of the time. It will go away.

Regardless, if you are someone's friend, you go to their funeral.

Perhaps you have problems with reading comprehension so I'll sum up the original post:

You are the one who made the original post about Trump. I never once brought him up in the post, nor did I mention his name at any point int he post, nor did I make an attempt to justify anything Trump has ever said about the drug in the post. I also never once stated in the original post that this was some kind of cure for COVID19. I found the article link interesting considering coronavirus has a 79 percent genetic similarity to the SARS virus.

Also, it's possible to make a point without being a total D.

it's painfully funny watching a bunch of elitists degrade anyone talking about hydroxychoroquine's potential use because "Orange Man Bad".

And yet your defense of your statement, was to negate my statement, by relegating it to being solely based on a dislike of the president.

So I gave you a picture, as you seem to be under the impression that my disagreement with the president on hydroxychloroquine, comes from a place of emotion, rather than science and logic.

I mean I'm not gonna lie. You sounded pretty emotional about the link I posted.

Wrong.
You go to a funeral to pay respects to a person you respect. You also go to mourn the loss of a friend or family member. How they died is irrelevant.

Trying to find a real time line here.

Tulsa was after Juneternth. This article says Cain was admitted more than a month ago 'Getting better': Herman Cain on oxygen after being hospitalized for COVID-19
Which would make it right after the rally. Way too close to say he got it there, with the normal 2 week delay.

Probably means he was spreading though.
Based on existing literature, the incubation period (the time from exposure to development of symptoms) of SARS-CoV-2 ranges from 2–14 days-with an average of 5 days.

Timeline:
June 20: Herman Cain attend's President Donald Trump's Tulsa rally and posts a photo of himself not wearing a mask
June 29: Cain tests positive for COVID-19
July 1: Cain is taken to the hospital by ambulance for COVID-19

So you are trying to equate a doctor choosing to give a patient the incorrect treatment, to a doctor being a pseudo-drug dealer by over prescribing opioids so they can be resold on on the street?

Really? That's the mental gymnastics that you are willing to do to prop up your own cognitive dissonance?

Christ that's some cringe.
You started with an absolute. Something something siths something something absolutes.

Makes it real easy to poke holes, so I did.

Now that I have backed you down from your absolute you are twisting the argument to one I havent made.

I am attacking your bad argument, not saying all doctors are drug dealers, or that we shouldnt trust doctors because some are pushers.

So instead of backing down from your absurd starting point you go on personal attacks because apparently I made too fine a point for you to recognize.

Well wishes to Gohmert for a full recovery.

His first order of business upon return should be to resign in disgrace, citing his own stupidity as reason to go.

He’s not going anywhere - - in his interview he suggested continual moving his snotty mask (that he didn’t wear) was the cause

Yeah, sure if by "poking holes" you mean "standing up a straw man", sure.

I challenge you to find (widespread) cases of doctors going out of their way to prescribe unverified medical treatments based off of their patient's desires, since you seem to believe it is relatively common.

Job shaming, classy...

Great visual of who you are.

No, no. He was implying that I'm a ****sucker there.

He attempted to shame my line of work in the post before that. It's become the oldest joke in the "diss Dink" playbook by the peanut gallery around here.

I've always found it funny that the Republic*nts around here love to **** on the working class when someone like me gets under their thin skin with a funny joke about beating their dumb mothers with sex toys.

It's all in good fun, right?🤣

It makes me laugh because they have no clue. Most of the ones who do the bashing, I suspect, make less then what a good bartender does at a good establishment. Like I have said before on here, one of my neighbors pulls in 100K a year tending bar at a Buckhead joint.
